Ordered some thanks, said there were 3 in stock in my local store.

Then got rung up by some illiterate muppet from the store itself who could barely speak a word of English, saying something along the lines of "we hasn't got no stock innit mate systemz not workin"

So close but no cigar

Been a while since i ordered from Homebase but if it's an item i would like and my local says it's in stock I usually ring them up to confirm after making a reservation
Did anyone else see the picture and think of the burning?

Had this happen to me before where you turn up and the muppets look everywhere but no stock. Useless store. No wonder it's going under
Had to throw away a pair of these because the handle separated / slipped off the shaft and they became dangerous to use. I have the Spear and Jackson wishbone shears now which are £15.99 at Screwfix (although I paid £5 in the Wilko garden clearance last year). The S&P shears are much better.
