Amazing bit of kit. Voted hot. Ignore all the comments on the reviews that say it leaves a hole, what else would you expect when taking out a huge weed.

Exactly that seen as though there wasn't any grass where the weed grew there is obviously going to be a bald spot

Exactly, put a bit of compost in the hole and all will be fine in a month! Bought mine last year for £12 from Tesco's and it is satisfying to use!

one word. Excellent.

I agree 100%. This product works and is built to last.

Brilliant tool and actually fun to use.

this is an example of that rare thing: a device that is easy to use and actually works!

Have this myself, best solution to making sure the weed is gone for good. Works an absolute treat, can't recommend it high enough.

I've had one for a year, and it's great. It makes the process so much quicker, and ensures you get the whole root.

Perfect gift for mums as they get a bit older and don't want to be doing too much bending too.

Good but still overpriced imo.

Has been cheaper. Might be worth waiting.

Love this - especially the bit where you pretend it's a pump action shotgun when throwing the weed away

15% day at the weekend at Homebase it's only going to be a few pence cheaper than amazon but every little helps.

I prefer the traditional method >

Hi Miss Weed do you come here often? Or, get your leaves you've pulled.

This should save my back

I agree with all the above comments. Bought Aldi's own brand on Sunday for £3.99 ( reduced from £12.99, Smithdown Rd Liverpool) worth every penny. Having used it, would gladly pay £ 24 for it. Don't know if there are any more about, Aldi reductions tend to be store specific, but keep your eyes open anyway - you could be lucky.

Although I love mine be warned, the plastic bit cracks at the bottom quite easily. Mine is less than a year old so getting it replaced.

Fiskars in the US offer a life time gurantee but only 12 months in Europe.

But yes, it leaves a hole. Pop some grass seed in it, put some soil on top, add water. Sorted.

Mostly good reviews but can all these people be wrong?:

Just the job....cheers !

I picked up this bit of kit when it was at £15 and its totally worth it, Less work in removing the weed, if you press the hole back with your feet it sorts it out if you dont want to put grass seed in but how much does grass seed cost, next to nothing.

Otherwise by some weed killer or get the trowel dig a massive hole and then hopefully get the whole weed out.

I had mine for quite some time now and I have not had any bits break off it

I've got gravel in the back garden and the membrane has failed quite spectacularly, tons of weeds have shot up in the past couple of weeks... I'll be replacing it eventually but would this be suitable in the mean time?

You have to think about the representative spread of reviews 443 5 star reviews is impressive, plus is the reviewer fair or were they having a bad day? etc. I have the item and can honestly say it's worth every penny

It is a very good bit of kit but unfortunately I overworked mine and it snapped. I wish the metal bit went all the way up for the mechanism. Unfortunately it connected to plastic

Sometimes I wonder if HUKD is eerily psychic or a persistant stalker, because just the other day I was looking at my lawn thinking "Damn, that's a lot of weeds" and then today I come across this on here!

Ordered. Thanks OP.

I have one of these and it is good. It's satisfying when you pull those pesky weeds right out but if you have hundreds of them as I have, then weed killer is the answer.

I got one and it does good job. I found it cheap at amazon only so hot from me.

Glad it's helped some of you out. Mine should be with me on Saturday and fingers crossed I can start getting rid of all the weeds on the lawn and start having a decent looking one.

Didn't have much luck with ours. 9 times out of ten it would normally leave a bit of the root and eventually the dandelion grows back again.

RRP for £51 my goodness! Who would of thought a weed puller could cost so much. Hoping it gets back to the low £15 then it will save me and my back.

Cold - picked it up for about £17 a couple of months ago

Even Jacen couldn't manipulate the past. So Luke using the force won't help you here.
