£340 is only £68 a pot. Its not that much.

I've not researched the brand, but assume you will get a lifetimes use out of a decent set. So overall might be cheaper then replacing pans every few years!

Not necessarily. What's every few years? And what price point are you talking about? These are replacing a set I have owned for over 20 years only because they are not induction hob compatible. Some products just lend themselves to buy once

​£68 a pot is still a lot. you try to justify that you'll only spend that once in a life time.... who wants to use the same set all through the life. even if the pot is durable easily tends to bore you after a few years and will buy something else again.
I still think it's a lot of money and deal on this is like 20% off on a Ferrari..... clearly those who can afford one don't need deals
