In what many enthusiasts consider to be 'the ultimate martial arts movie', Bruce plays the fictional character of Chen Jun, a student of legendary real-life martial artist Fok Yun Gap. In an epic tale of national rivalries, Lee is a true force of nature as he battles against Japanese Imperialist forces determined to subjugate his people. In the most electrifying performance of his career, Bruce Lee demonstrates complete mastery of his art in scene after scene of the most realistic and brutal unarmed combat ever filmed!

whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa t an amazing sideways deal, HUH!

people still adore BRUCE LEE

This is still a great deal although I thought the Jet Li remake Fist of Legend was better. Jet Li was awesome back in his younger days.

Legends don't die.

If this is the HKL release thats a great deal. But £1 for any DVD of this is a steal.

Great deal, i paid 8.99 a few months ago for this DVD......... obviously not from Quidland !!

It seems to be one of the old cover-mounted DVDs that went with Hong Kong Legend magazine, not the full version.

Not that I'm complaining - I bought similiar editions of Once A Thief and Police Story for the same price from charity shops (shrink-wrapped).

This and the Ronnie Barker DVDs seem to suggest that now cover mounted DVDs are now turning up. Which should make things interesting.

Dance of the Drunken mantis (Drunken master 2) was the best kunk fu film of all time, if you havent seen it you missed out.

sik film

not bad thanks hot

I didn't see this one today but saw loads of other ex magazine dvds mainly TV shows like Dads Army, Stargate, Charmed, CSI, X-files, and a couple more. Only 1 or 2 of each in the series not complete collections, but looks like poundland have acquired a lot of these from somewhere, lets hope more of the movie ones start turning up!

That's a bit mind boggling - what next, freebies off of the newspapers for £1? Actually not a bad business idea.. Some of these DVDs go for a couple of quid with postage on the Bay and are normally the older actual classic films

I used to read mags like Eastern Heroes etc. and got caught out buying their 'official' videos'of HK action films like John Woo, Jackie Chan or Cat3 bloodbaths

Sounds like this version is censored or edited if your comments are true and not really of interest to any genuine fans.

great deal. Hott!

"WAY of the Dragon"

I'd buy that for a Dollor (or a pound).

Its uncut. Just barebones and has none of the extras if that interests you. (Although you can view either dubbed or subtitled if you prefer one over the other)

awesome price for an awesome film , just to add , the reason this guy is considered the best is because he was 30yrs ahead of his time . others follow but he will always lead.
