As a lardy bloke, I'm looking for something like this, can I ask, why the negativity?
I have one.. very slow in taking a reading, takes ages to sync, and annoys you with it is message.. I'm always like.. Just give me the damn reading already.

replaced with the £15 one and was forgotten
If you are in the market for one it is the best price around so heat. It's a lot of money for a scale though and although I originally looked into buying one I ultimately felt it didn't provide enough value.

I have the withings one which is pretty good. It'll give you the reading straight away, then the syncing time will vary. Sometimes it's straight away and sometimes it takes an ages. But at least you already have the reading so can just hop off if it doesn't sync.
I also had problem's with syncing , but I only paid just over £55 for mine from amazon . So has been cheaper.

Do you regret buying it or do you think it's a worthwhile if you are already invested in the Fitbit app? Trying to figure out if I should be tempted if I see it around the £50 mark in future
My personal opinion was that it is expensive for something without many features. I went for Tanita BC543 and have been happy with the results.
I would recommend the xiaomi scales instead. Its around £16 from Gear best.

I would say you better off avoiding. It's expensive at £70 and even at the price that I paid, I would say it's not particularly good value for money, especially given some of the problems that have already been mentioned.

Thanks for getting back to me. Will make do with my salter scales!
I was tempted to get these but went for the Withings 30 model after some research (when it was Black Friday). Once it's hooked up to your wifi it auto syncs in the background, never had any issues. I didn't bother with the Aria or the pricier Withings because the only extra functionality is body fat % & this isn't very accurate or consistent.

The profile system also works great, when I get on it saves my weight as me (my initials in the corner to indicate that). Same for my wife etc. And I have it set up to then scroll through weight graph of recent readings, BMI & weather for the day (all customisable/can change order). It also auto updates my Withings, Fitbit, Strava, Garmin, Mapmyfitness, Health etc apps.
