beware these have had many faults google problems with blaze before buying.
They replaced my blaze with Ionic at Fitbit.

Nearest with stock to me is Leigh. Too far for me as I don't drive. But, if you live near Wigan/Leigh, they have stock there.

This is a much nicer design than the Versa I just wish there were more faces available.

How many are available?

Seems crazy that you have a device like this and still have to have your phone with you for GPS to work. If you're out running, surely you don't want to have your phone with you.

One of the worst smartwatches I've had - poor response to gestures when you want to see the time, very limited usability with notifications, screen glitches, supposedly not waterproof, and having to pop the face out from the watch to use the default charger is just stupid.

Get an Amazfit Bip instead and you'll be happier, save money, be able to see what the time is without contorting your arms, and only have to charge it once a month.
Edit: *and* be able to use the GPS features without having your phone on you

Agree. That why I chose the Garmin vivoactive 3 music over a Fitbit a few months ago.

But very good for money for occasional runners.

Love my Fitbit but hate having to restart my phone every day to get the damn thing to work properly. No other Bluetooth devices need that but apparently, according to Fitbit support, that's perfectly OK and normal. Done this on three different phones and two Fitbit's - it's a "feature" that a lot of other people moan about too.

Since the last firmware update, the GPS connection has been all over the place, required a removal and re-add of the device on the app and it seems to be back working again. Second time I've had to do that in twelve months but again, according to Fitbit support, that's perfectly normal.

Thanks, not hea rd of the Amazfit, I'll look into them! I had been looking at the Samsung Gear Frontier watch but it's a fair bit of money!

Had both this and the Amazfit Bip, would definitely go for a GPS watch if you jog/cycle regularly. Got sick of finding the GPS had not connected properly and parts/all of the run were missing.

I've never had any issues with the watch not showing the time etc. Ya might have had a wrong'un there mate. I appreciate your point in regard to the charger but I have an after-market one that allows you to drop the whole watch straight in. Charge lasts about a week or so for me. I am slightly frustrated with the limit faces available though. On-board GPS I'm not bothered about as I always have my phone with me.

A better deal is to buy a brand new blaze pebble off of eBay and get a third party strap and charger also off of ebay

They get the job done in terms of fitness trackers. But yes in terms of smart watches they're poor

I had one for a while before i gave it to my wife.....maybe 18months ago. I thought it was good but wanted GPS

Note that it does not notify you when you get a WhatsApp call. Its annoying for me because I can't keep my phone on silent as I need the WhatsApp call notification ☹

I've had my Blase 2 years +. Now having to charge it every two days instead of 4. Anyone know if you can replace the battery easily?

You can store music on the Blaze

Decent price to be fair
I've had most of the various fitbits apart from the ionic as i don't like the look of it so kept the blaze until the versa came out.
I had my blaze for well over a year with no issues before giving it to a mate who likewise has had no issues, if your after a fitness watch it does the job (lack of proper gps may be an issue for some peeps) and if you want smart watch features it's better to look elsewhere though.

I've had it for a few years and very happy with mine. Changed my life and helped me get fit.

In particular I’m curious if the Versa provides fixes for any of the problems people mention with the blaze. I’d have preferred the design of this over the versa but I’m assuming I’ve compromised on that in exchange for functionality?

Fitbits are awfully unreliable. Two just stopped working for no apparent reason. No longer interested in this company.

The versa has better smart watch features than the blaze (bear in mind though it is still primarily a fitness watch) and is also waterproof to 50m, I cannie comment on fitbit pay with the versa as I've never used it.The only issue I have had so far with the versa was that the strap recently split after a year of wearing it daily and this does seem to be an issue on the versa, i did contact fitbit support as the warranty is 2 years in the UK and they sent me a new strap.

Thanks, that’s really helpful actually as I’m not too bothered about the smart watch functions. Looking for something to help me track exercise including swimming so that sounds ideal
