That's ma laydee's valentines day pressie sorted. Nice spot op. Have a little heat.
Possible 3% cashback with Quidco as well (3% for "all other" purchases) making it £86.33.
Battery last 4 days. This is the iPhone of trackers half the product at twice the price. Much better ones that are waterproof and with gps / 21 day battery are available for £69. I had to turn off the hr monitor and regular sync just to get it to last a week

It might have a fault. Mine lasts over a week easily. In fact it's been telling me the battery is low for the last two days and hasn't turned off.

I love it. However, I buy the cheap replacement straps for it off Amazon as the Fitbit ones are stupid expensive and can't be cleaned, and I can no-longer feel the steps reminder buzz - I became desensitised to that within the first month

Which ones do you think are better for £69? I got a Charge 2 last month, and I do like it, but I agree the battery life is annoyingly short, and the HR monitor seems to be patchy often so doesn't track my sleep properly...

My heart monitor is spot on and one reason why I got it tbh.
I've even been in my doctors and compared his to mine and they matched perfectly!
I've got a heart condition so regularly have 100 bpm + sometimes 120 upwards then get palpitations so it's been great at monitoring my heart as I often don't realise it's so high at rest rate

Huami Amazfit Bip... oft overlooked in this country, but Huami probably hold the greatest market share for wearable tech.

ft.com/con…bf2 <-- decent article about the background of the brand as well as touching on the tech of the Bip.

I can also highly recommend the amazfit pace which I use. So far at work today, and recording my 30 minute cycle with gps this morning, it's dropped from 75% to 67%. I did have continuous heart rate on but that resulted in charging every 3 - 4 days. I don't need it other than for interest when I'm cycling so I switched t off. It's got a decent vibration for alarm as well which means I can be woken without disturbing my wife and baby... Cost me £68 when on offer (highlighted by HUKD of course!). It's got all sorts of sport tracking as well as step counters and various reminders etc.

Of course, people may prefer the security of buying western brands so it's worth looking into it a bit and seeing what you want it for. I'm a convert to the budget Chinese tech personally (I also have a xiaomi redmi 4 pro which is everything I want from a phone at £130!).

Good Morning, Does the Amazon one look huge on the wrist? the pictures make it look really big and I have tiny wrists. I was going to order to the Fitbit one but would really like to look in to an alternative where possible, especially if cheaper and does the same job? Thank you so much in advance.

Hi, just to clear up. The model is the Amazfit Bip (I have the Amazfit Pace Sport). They are both manufactured by a Chinese company called Huami. However, they have both been sold under another Chinese Company's branding, Xiaomi. Confused much?

The Pace is a reasonable size, about 45mm. I'm not sure on the Bip, but it's shaped more cube like a la Apple Watch.

Here's a pic of mine, with a ruler stuffed behind it, against an A4 page with a standard biro reference

I'd say the Bip sounds amazing for the £38 on this thread!
