Definitely integrates with notifications, although is limited to only one …Definitely integrates with notifications, although is limited to only one messaging app (I.E. only WhatsApp or Only Facebook Messenger). The Charge 2 doesn't do music, only their new smartwatch does that. It's a good fitness tracker. Their app is fully stocked with features and all sorts of tracking. Battery life is ok too, lasts a week between charges, although I keep forgetting to remember to charge it. My only bugbear is the watch itself is thicker than the pictures make it out to seem, I guess to fit in the heart rate tracking. It's a bit of an odd one at first, you get used to it but it still feels like you can notice it between shirt cuffs.

I got one of these for Christmas. The limitation of one messenger app is annoying but can be worked around by using an 3rd party app called fit notifications.

Took me an hour to get it right but I now get notifications from text, Facebook and Whatsapp. Well worth the time to bypass the limitation

Just to say these don't currently work with the Huawei p10 lite.
Hasn’t this been £89 for a while? Either way still a good deal
Bought one for my girlfriend's Christmas gift but doesn't seem to work with her Moto G4. Very disappointing...
Heat for the price anyway.
Just purchased and already a Prime member so free delivery too! Only decent price now as everywhere else seems to be firing the prices back up before the big January Fitness boom - crafty!

Voted Hot as this is a brilliant deal! Well done Amazon and OP for posting
My wife wants to upgrade on her fitbit and would like one that integrates with her phone for messages etc and possibly on board music capabilities....is there such a fitness watch/band?
just out of curiosity, if i track my sleep and it says reports it not great - how can I change it if Im asleep?

It was full price in John Lewis today. Heat from me
This or Alta, any major differences?

Nor does it work with Huawei 6x.
I'd advise anyone considering this to check Fitbit's list of compatible phones first and not make the assumption I foolishly did of "they must support this - it's just Bluetooth" I've come to the conclusion there is Bluetooth and then there is Fitbit's implementation of Bluetooth...

Sounds like the Fitbit Ionic. I've recently got one as a part warranty replacement. Quite pricey.
I really hope this is better put together than the original charge; I've just ordered up my 5th replacement today!

This or Alta, any major differences?

The Alta is a slimmer band and has better battery life. The Charge 2 has a couple of extra sport specific tracking functions and can use GPS via mobile phone tethering. For this reason if you are a keen runner the Charge 2 is best otherwise for step/sleep tracking the Alta is best!
Not long picked one up for over 100 quid
I got one just after Christmas last year and can't recommend them enough for the amount of info you get from the app.

You can pick up different coloured straps on eBay for around £4-£5 as opposed to the official ones for £20. I've got a few different ones I alternate and they look and feel pretty much identical to the originals.
This has now gone to £99! Glad I got mine this morning when it was stil £89

I've got a Moto g4 and my tomtom watch doesn't work with it, must be the phone.
Just to say as an alternative a Garmin Vivoactive HR is a good shout, integrates with phones for notifications and SMS as well as being fully waterproof so you can also go swimming

It is a bit thick size wise but the Garmin Connect app is very easy to use and you can pick them up for just over £100 if you look around

Also works perfectly with my Huawei Honor Note 8 which is running EMUI 5.01 on a custom rom

Anyone tried it with a Moto G5? My Charge HR synced once when I first got the phone and hasn't since. The back cover keeps falling off so considering replacing it but only another Fitbit if it'll sync reliably and do call notifications.
A quick look on ebay and you can buy the 'pebble' only for between £40-50, then a non generic strap and charger for a fiver, pretty cheap.
I've bought two Blazes for £49 each, no problems, worth a look.
Only 89 for small blue now but good price still so heat.

Great price, heat added.
How does this compare with the Mi Band?
Seen these in Swindon about 2 hours ago in house of fraser, £60. Looked like last 5 in the display case. Didnt ask if they had more as battery died and wasn't sure what the cheapest deal was. Should have grabbed 2. May help. Someone else.

(im about 80% sure it's the same version as the op)
99 now
If you are looking for an alternative the Huawei Band 2 Pro is very very decent for around £50. Ive been using one for a few days and quite pleased with it.

Downside...its not FitBit!

Upside...has built in GPS, great battery life and for the money difficult to beat!

If you don't mind me asking, how much discount did they offer you? I've had issues with my fitbit charge 2 and they offered free replacement or discount off another model. The iconic wasn't released back then.

It wasn't much - I think I had to pay £199 IIRC. They do a % off of the pre VAT value. In my case I'd probably have been better off getting another replacement surge & then going for the discount in 6 months time when the strap had de-laminated again, and RRP had fallen.

That said, the Ionic is a significantly slicker product than the Surge. Quite pleased with it.

Looks like 97.99 for each colour now.

Maybe a dodgy unit then. Couldn't get it to sync with the phone when trying to set it up out if the box.
Not 89 anymore

Here's the first I found searching for Fitbit Charge 2 HR strap

ebay.co.uk/itm…690?hash=item1ecc9ac802:m:mUN-AQDNBy7JR8dMd56F8Rw

There's literally hundreds of seller listings just in the UK. I've bought from a few different sellers and they all seem to be the same.

My Fitbit works with my Moto G4. Fitbit's online chat is very good. They can talk through trouble shooting steps and provide a replacement if you can't get it working.
