Anyone think they will come down anymore anywhere Xmas eve? I am after two. Heat added fab price.
Still no gps at this price point. The huawei band 2 pro also on Tesco @ £45 (with code) seems better.

Has connected GPS...

I never used it when I owned one though. I'm currently looking for a good waterproof tracker (pref also want its app to beable to import my fitbit data if its not the ionic)

Great watch and customer service too.

As these have been £89 in offers in the run-up to Christmas, I would have thought it would drop cheaper in the sales (though there is an emphasis towards fitness products after Christmas).

Can't comment on the Band 2 pro, but with Fitbit, you are also buying into their app, which in my opinion is excellent, and their customer service has always been efficient.

Very good price. Doubt it will come more down in price. Heat added
So which is the best buy the charge 2 or the alta Hr would like the plum but seems its not in the hr.
What about boxing day ?

Would you guys say this is the best Fitbit at the moment ? My gf broke her Fitbit 2 (which was 2 years old so I guess an older model than this one ?), sorry I know nothing about smart watches.

Except Apple watch (she has an iphone), is this close to the top smart watches of the moment ?

Is this water proof ? Does the backlit stays on all the time to see the time without a press ? I guess it doesnt do calls like Apple watch 3 ?
Its been this price on several occasions in last few months (check Amazon deals), so i expect the price to drop below 89£ in post Xmass sales. Hence not a hot price from me...
Samsung Gear Fit 2 seems to be a better buy than this but you buy a Fitbit for the excellent ecosystem, I’m still using a Charge (1st gen) HR that is going strong - strap has seen better days though.

Gear Fit 2 has true GPS, great screen, 3 days battery, MP3 and Bluetooth audio - they claim it works with any Android and iOS (not sure I believe that though, just imagining bugs)

I've got the fitbit charge 2 but gone for this one over the fitbit for my oh so hope it's a good one.

Did they ever resolve the poor quality strap issue? My friend had one and had his charge 2 replaced three times and the straps are still poor
Thanks for this OP.

I just contacted John Lewis about this deal and they price matched it and refunded me the difference to what I paid them a couple of weeks ago.
techradar.com/rev…and

Huawei band looks good but apparently the performance is not there
Just cancelled as same price on amazon with next day delivery (prime)
I wouldn’t recommend the charge HR based on my experience with the last generation, had two replacements due to faulty adhesive bands (may have been corrected with this new design); ended up with the blaze which has been excellent, a year in and no issues.
Ordered 2 of the huawei pro bands from amazon, thanks for the post... they do look good and are also half the price. Worst comes to worst, can always send them back without trouble on amazon.
Super hot deal!!

Bought the Xiaomi Band but am underwhelmed compared to the Fitbit Charge that I owned for 2 years.... really tempted to buy this!!

One thing I will say is that the Fitbit customer support is excellent. My Charge HR died twice but they were quick to replace with brand new tracker on both occasions.
nice 1
Heat added for the price but I bought from John Lewis for the 2yr accidental cover @ £10

Very true. Everyone told to eat, drink and be merry right up until Christmas and then told immediately after to get fit and lose weight. Everyone joins a gym or goes running with their new Fitbit in the new year, loses a bit of weight and then claims it's the new them The evenings start to get lighter, people lose interest and it all goes out the window. See it every year

You've got a point, but not true for everyone.
I think the best way is to try and be generally consistent, eat sensibly, get regular exercise, but allow for the odd indulgence, simple really.
For a lot of people the Fitbit is a good motivational aid, best price I've seen as well!

I bought one of these about a month ago and I absolutely love it. It really motivates me.
Fitbit Blaze and Fitbit Charge 2 work with the sensors on your nearby phone to track GPS data (known as "connected" GPS).

Fitbit Ionic and Fitbit Surge have built-in GPS.

I think £89.99 is an excellent price for the Charge2. As well as the info available on your Fitbit, it's the Fitbit app on your phone and also accessible from your PC that sets it apart from the competitors in my opinion. I've owned other brands in the past.
right,
i see xiaomi phones posted a lot on here, and also titbits... that means there must be others that have both like me?
How have you got the push notifications to work permanently? Google was helpful at the getting them working to start with, but always eventually it stops working... and now even after uninstalling the app and changing pretty much every setting possible, im not getting any notifications to my fitbit. Ive tried for the last 2 hours to get it working!!!

Xiaomi phones have aggressive ram management settings by default and this can stop you getting notifications because the apps are killed in the background.

This video should show you how to stop this from happening

So what? People are alllowed to prioritise and re-prioritise as they see fit. Not really worthy of you scorn.
Had one in my basket on Tesco, went to checkout and price has gone from £99 to £119 within 40 minutes. Annoyed is an understatement!
