You beat me by a minute! Great deal heat from me
Main differences between the 3 and the 2?
Is the Inspire HR worth an extra £25 over this?

Charge 3 is water resistant, has 40% bigger screen, touch screen, is thinner & lighter & holds charge longer. I’ve had both and by far prefer charge 3 but charge 2 is decent if your just starting out. Decent price
Ordered, will be my first Fitbit. Thanks for sharing, heat from me 😁

I’ve just bought the Inspire HR (from curry’s as its on offer there) so far so good! I sent a Charge 2 back as didn’t find it comfortable to wear - Inspire much better.
Is this waterproof?
Is their website broken for anyone? It wont let me add it to the basket
Ordered cheers OP
This or the Xiaomi Mi Band 4?
Can these transfer data from the fitbit app into the Apple Health app?
Fantastic deal! I just got a replacement from Fitbit for a failed Charge 2 and service was great. Had an option of getting a replacement for 50% off a different fitbit. Voted Hot!
Oos
Edit: sorry seems phone was redirecting to US site when switching to basket.

Thanks for the suggestion. Tried on a different device, but still not available.
Perfect timing. I drunkenly signed up to a 10k over the weekend saying it would be a piece of cake. This’ll probably be enough to prove me wrong. Cheers

Only on the purple one?
What does "on back-order" mean? Long delivery times?

At the minute but suspect they will lower the others colours soon

Can these transfer data from the fitbit app into the Apple Health app?

No they can’t, but their own app is very good. Ive had both this and the charge 3 but returned both as they were very inaccurate on steps and distance. Read fitbit forum and it appears to be a known issue that fitbit just haven’t bothered to rectify.

Thanks, was more for the Mrs as I have an apple watch, but if it won't feed data into the health app with her other stuff then it's a no go. Thanks for helping.
Straps are always breaking on these things

I had this for over a year and honestly it wasn't very good. Just upgraded to a blaze and it is so much better.
My first one died within a couple of days. Second lasted 14 months before the screen developed cracks, which is a common problem that appears to have carried on to the Charge 3 and unrelated to any obvious physical abuse or accidents. Personally, this fault, on top of how poor it is at resisting scratches, has put me off buying another Fitbit. The connectors for the official straps also tend to only last a few months before failing, which increases the risk of the band getting lost. I now have a thinner third party strap that has lasted longer and is more comfortable. As with all wrist bands, steps can be over-counted depending on what you do with your hands, and is much less accurate if worn on your main writing arm regardless of the toggle setting in the app. Step counting can be improved a little by setting stride length in the app. But, like BMI, its a fairly meaningless concept anyway as everyone is different in terms of effort used, eg how fast they walk (and how they use their hands), though it is good personally to have a general idea of relative progress from day to day. Sleep tracking, when it was added later, is better than my Mi band 1s and my son's Mi band 3, but not as good as my wife's Huawei band - which is again, all nice to know but still not as good as how one feels in the morning ;).
My partner has this and I purchased the yoho sports band for £4 she now wishes she had mine as it links to apple health and for £4 is an absolute steal it has a blood pressure monitor and heart monitor as well
Had 2 of this model - each lasted just over a year before it broke. The first was replaced under warranty. The strap broke - a common problem with this model. The replacement also broke in the same place and stopped synchronization with app. The overall warranty is 2 years so by the time the second one broke I was unable to get a repair. OK deal as long as you factor in that it's likely it will only last 2 years tops.

This or the Xiaomi Mi Band 4?

Mi Band 4.
After 2 weeks of use, battery life still over 50%. Notifications like whats app, email etc on.
Amoled screen excellent. Can't go wrong at £34.99 or cheaper. The Mi Fit app is brill, and it also links to Google fit.

This or the Xiaomi Mi Band 4?

Xiaomi all the way. Where I work we got fitbit charge2 at a special offer and to raise money for charity and a lot of us are finding the syncing with your phone is terrible on it and the blue tooth is weak. One guy already had Xiaomi Mi band and says it is much better to work with on both counts.
Does it have nfc?
Brilliant price and heat added but I've sworn off Fitbits now - just had my fourth one in four years break (a £200 Versa, unfortunately - the top popped off when swimming!) and it's about time I learned the lesson. Ordered a MiBand 4 from AliExpress now. I've always been careful with my Fitbits yet they still break - they are just not made to last despite the premium pricetags.
