These things any good?

Don't know - just bought one. I read there is a c.20% margin of error. I would look at it as a motivational tool and not a proper performance measurement device.
Only seems to be plum colour at this price. Good deal though. Amazon also have the Microsoft band for £55 . It is the old model but still a decent alternative to ChargeHR.
I love mine. It's really motivated me to move more and I've lost over a stone in little over a month.

Any thoughts as to which is better?
Want one badly as a motivator to help me lose weight but think I will hold out for a black one in black Friday sales.

You're taking way too much risk with only 7 in stock - you are better off buying it, holding it until the 27th (without opening the package) and returning it if you find a better deal.

Works as a great motivator for me and has help me loose weight but you need to be strict with yourself and input the data on the website or app for it to be any good.

It's a risk I'm willing to take for a better deal x

that does not even make sense! perhaps I did not express my point correctly: buy buying now, you can always return for free so no risk taken whatsoever....anyways, I don't work for either amazon or fitbit - not trying to push a sale here
I've got one. It is motivating. The software can be a bit clunky - the Android version is better than the Windows app. One of the best things is logging calories in vs out, though the food database leaves a lot to be desired. I need to put in some more effort but I am losing weight, so it is working. Probably though the best thing for me has been realising how little I really sleep and that I need to try and sleep a lot more.

I was going to buy my wife one but I see Xiaomi have a new MiBand which also does heart rate for a fraction of the price. The original MiBand has been highly rated and so I'm going to see if the new one is as good before I decide which to buy.

Now am between 2 minds: this or the Microsoft Band 1 at £55.... hmmm

But why buy a colour I don't want now when I won't use it? I want a black one not the plum one.
