Fitbit Charge HR from Marks & Spencers - £66.49

Found 25th Nov 2015
Was just looking for a fitbit for the wife and noticed that M&S had reduced the price of the Charge HR to around what Argos and Amazon was asking for a couple of weeks ago. They appear to have both small and large in black and plum. Hope it helps somebody.

sorry, i must have misread the price. Ive updated it.
Hero.

The missus only yesterday dropped the hint she'd like one of these, typically Argos/Amazon deal had expired saved me some cash and grief!.
Great price wonder if there will be a further reduction Friday? They have the Flex for £34-99 as well.
Is this definitely for the charge HR as this considerably lower than any other retail outlet. Or could it be for just the Charge which is slightly different?

You can't top this guy in China, who bought two Gold Apple Watches (£15k?) for his dog. One on each front paw:

The Charge HR is definitely not waterproof. It is splashproof though, but more "wash your hands" than showering.

I don't think it's fully waterproof. Well they say it's OK in the rain but to take it off for swimming or in the shower. That said I'm sure I read comments from people who said they had swum with it and it was OK, personally I won't risk it with mine. I do periodically quickly wash and then dry mine - I had to because for the first few weeks it was causing skin irritation. I suspect that even though FitBit say they have solved the irritation problems of the older models there is still something unpleasant being leached out of the plastic. Actually considering how much they cost I think it's pretty poor that there is any issue at all.
Before I purchase can anyone explain how the music works on the Surge? It's the only extra above the HR that I'd be after, but if I still have to carry my iPhone with me so it can connect, it wouldn't be worth it?? I'm Googling as I speak but it hasn't become clear yet? I can't see a headphone access point either?

You better hope it doesn't give you a rash then, like mine did...

You can't play music through any model i'm pretty sure. I think you just control the music same as you do any smartwatch. Have a look on the fit bit website for more information.
Seems like a good price so I will ask the obvious one at this point. Does anyone think Amazon will reduce their price on Friday?

The Polar H7 strap HR monitor is bluetooth 4.0 and cheaper still. You can use it with your phone/tablet and is much more accurate and versatile.

It quite clearly does have something to do with this post. He was pointing out a potentially better option, which could be useful for people looking at this post....
I'm really not sure. I really want it in blue though, may order one and see if someone else can provide the blue at the same or better price
Wondering if we'll see further price reductions from other sellers for Black Friday. Could see this go down to £60 - that's my wish!
