Why mess with these when you can get an excellent Xiaomi Mi band 2 for well under £20? This one hasn't even got a proper display.

Good price for a fitbit
Oos
Not oos for me but still £55
Price changed back to £55 after getting to payment options at checkout. Shame.
Thanks, in stock and £40 for me, nice

Had one of these, found it unreliable and poor battery life. Good price vs RRP though!
According to the online team it might be a deal just for today. If you try to order it for another day the promotion disappears as it may not be valid for those days. Best thing to do is call your local store and ask them to see if they have any in stock and if its £40.
Lol at first when I saw the pic I thought it was something to do with crayons. It looked like a child had written 'Oi'

Lasts longer, battery life.
Cold, massively overpriced, worse battery life and less features than Xiaomi band. No display either.

Mt Mi band last about 3 weeks between charges - a review I read of Fitbit says it last about 1 week.
What is a good fitness tracker for all activities with HR and GPS? I've been looking on Amazon but a lot of the big names have bad reviews as some seem to stop working after a few months or have various problems. Thanks for any help in advance.

Is support easily available if something goes wrong?
This goes back up to £55 as soon as you put it in the basket.

My miband 1 lasts about 3 weeks, my previous miband 2 lasts about 4 days if you turn off a load of features.

What support do you require for a £20 simple piece of tech?!

Not a bad price for a Fitbit but I have to agree with most people here and say the Mi Band 2 is amazing peice of gear for the cost and blows this out of the water. Still though good find
Managed to get it in store for £40 in Sainsbury's Braehead even though online was £55- could even use my £4 off £20 spend coupon so £36
Had one from Swansea store. Two left now.

Where would you recommend to buy the mi band 2 from? I've been looking online for a few days but not sure about these "grey market" sites. Plus a lot of the ebay sellers charge stupid prices for shipping too.

Gearbest.
£55 online ...
Have been reading the comments people saying the Xiaomi band 2 better yes it is mostly except the Fitbit Flex 2 can be used for swimming to count length whereas the Xiaomi band is waterproof but doesn’t recommend it for swimming. Don’t know now what to buy as I really want it for swimming.

I got the Huawei Band 2 Pro at Xmas for 50 quid. Has GPS and heart rate with great sleep tracking. App is decent (not as good as fitbit app but thats why you pay more for fitbits). Battery life very good although GPS will drain it faster. Can swim with it too. For the money I dont think you can beat it.
Absolutely love mine would highly recommend it, especially if you have got friends or family with them, it gets very competitive
Another+1 for the Xiaomi Mi Band 2. Brilliant value at £17 when I bought it over 6 months ago (it dropped down to less than £9 Black Friday Week). Love the 3+ week battery life and the buzzy notifications and alarm. Accurate step tracking too.

Fitbit seems like Apple - similar tech, 4x the price.

Another +1 for the Xiaomi mi band 2 from me.

Mi Band 2 lasting 4 days?!? Are you sure you're talking about the same Xiaomi tech that I have? Mine easily lasts 3-4 weeks!
Bought the xoami mi band 2 for my wife for xmas and seems to work great...until she pushes the pushchair! Any ideas...?

Huh?

Huh?

either its thinking she is motionless with no hand movement or vibrations messing it up

advantage of these over mi band is they are quite small
Having had a Mi Band 2 and now a Fitbit Alta HR I have to say they both have their advantages.

The Mi Band 2 is obviously incredibly cheap and the battery life is astonishingly good. However, the heart rate monitor may as well not exist, it is completely inaccurate, and after a few months my band stopped syncing with my phone. Obviously there was no support and so I had to chuck it.

The Fitbit seems to have a better heart rate monitor, though the battery is much worse. However the main advantage with the Fitbit is the app. It's much better than the Mi Band, and the social side (e.g. competitions against friends) is a real selling point.
wish I saw this deal yesterday! it was £40 when I clicked on it but now its gone to £55....

My wife has this and she has not had any problems with it all... Will keep an eye out if this drops again! Might have to go to the local sainsburys after work!
