This is a fantastic piece of kit and at a brilliant price! Just grabbed one for my other half; I've had mine for about a year now and find it really useful. Battery lasts ages as well.

•Tracks steps, distance, calories burned, and stairs climbed
•Monitor how long and how well you sleep
•Wakes you (and not your partner) with a silent alarm
•Syncs automatically to your computer or select smartphones and tablets via Bluetooth 4.0
•Set goals, view progress, and earn badges
•Share and compete with friends throughout the day
•Free iPhone and Android App

I agree, these are great! Steps, stairs, sleep tracking all work extremely well. Note:the burgundy ones have a pink display which isn't clear from the pic.
Just get a wife, you'll get told you need to lose more weight, be more active, get things done. She will share every thing about you with her friends (and by association yours too) she will wake you with the vacuum, tell you what time you got in last night.

I AM the wife!oO
This is a great price for a fantastic bit of kit.

It is worth the money alone for the silent alarm. Nothing I hate more than the sound of the forking alarm in the morning. Feels like you are waking more naturally, to me.
I bought mine from Maplins a couple of months ago when they were clearing them out (nationally) at £30. There may still be some in some branches.

In general I think its very good.
Sleep tracking relies on you manually starting and stopping it, also it did not detect me getting up in the night as broken sleep so I have stopped bothering with the sleep part of it.

It does not always record going up a flight of stairs either.

Its a good incentive to keep fit though and the Badge emails reinforce this.
The recording up stairs bit is to do with the altimeter. It treats 10 stair steps as 1 flight I think.

Also if you are out in the wind it tracks it as if you were going up stairs/steps.
Thanks, ordered and have some heat!
The latest iPhone has the m7 processor that basically does what the fitbit does. So if you've got a 5s and you don't need to track your sleep, I'd save your money. I do have a fitbit and the app gives me the option to use my phone as a fitbit. Most apps do now take advantage of the m7.

I'd expect a lot of these fitness trackers to decrease in price as Apple prepare to release their iwatch later this year.

I have an iPhone 5s and I would not swap this for the world. I do not carry my phone with me at all times; this is light weight, portable and you can forget about it.
I too have an iPhone 5s and a fitbit, I am wearing it right now (the fitbit) however for those without a fitbit, they have an option that will save them £50.

I never would have purchased my fitbit had I already had most of its features in my phone.

In any case, wait a few months for prices to plummet.

Showing £65 odd directly from Amazon...
