What makes you think they have? Curious?

Because they’ve been bought by Google recently

Google bought them

Google has a history of abandoning projects though so I wondered if that would affect FitBit

You can keep using it8)

Is that confirmed as long term? Thanks

Not sure what you’re worried about. My wife has one and even if they pulled the plug on it tomorrow, which is highly unlikely with what it cost them, there’s no reason she’d stop using it.

I’m just concerned about future app support etc. £170 is quite expensive if they’re gonna pull the plug in 6-12 months

Why would they pull the plug? Fitbit is a recognisable brand in itself. They may just do a minor rebrand like Nest if anything.

As I say it’s unlikely they will pull the plug with what it cost them that quickly and with Google’s resources and software experts Fitbit will probably survive longer than if the weren’t owned by them. As far as I’m aware the software works well anyway so unless there’s a new operating system which they didn’t adopt there no issue.
Thanks for the input hisqwertyness/dn39, much appreciated
Excellent deal. I had a £50 off a £100 spend code that they sent me earlier this month
i have this and its awful too many faults..read the reviews on qvc..il be returning mine!
Google could forget about this model as it has Alexa built in. Google ain't going to like that one bit.

Bummer. Its the only decent looking tracker that I think the Mrs would wear.
Thanks Op
