Can someone comment if versa lite is better than versa... Am stuck between the 2. Not going for versa 2 as hearing alot of negatives about that one

I dont own either but this is from techrader....

Takeaway

Ultimately, the biggest differences between the Fitbit Versa and the Fitbit Versa Lite are that the former supports contactless payments and music, but costs a bit more.

There are other differences, covering features, battery life and design, all of which we’ve highlighted above, but they’re mostly minor.

So the decision really is how much those extra features are worth to you. If you really want them then go for the Versa, but if they’re not things you’d use much then the Versa Lite is just as good in most ways, and generally costs less

Me personally, I've had the blaze and now on ionic. I've never used the watch for contacless payment nor the music feature, as I use bluetooth headphones connected to my phone whilst at gym for music and my phone for payments.

Hope that helps.
Just remember the rechargeable battery on these rarely last longer than 2 years. Fitbit might exchange under warranty if under 2 years, over and they don't. New draconian policy since being acquired by Google. Used to be a lot fairer.

I went from the ionic to the Galaxy watch, oh boy the difference is staggering. Fitbit will go the way of Blackberry.
I hope that Google wear OS will put fitbit where it should be. As a fitness and sleep tracker it's awesome but as a smart watch it's shamelessly way behind. I find myself using the iconic and Galaxy watch at the same.
I hope they build a better smartwatch fitness tracker soon.

One major thing for me is that the versa lite doesn’t have the 3-axis gyroscope or altimeter that the original versa/versa 2 have; so it doesn’t track floors walked or laps when worn swimming

It still counts steps it doesn’t count flight of stairs walked up though as doesn’t have the altimeter to know height difference
Surprised this isn’t hotter, seems like a bargain to me I’ll sell the dot for £25 or £30 in the new year and makes the Fitbit around £70 which is a crazy price

I was thinking the same lol.
I’d originally ordered the one without the dot for £89 as it’s still a really good price considering these most likely will go back to around £119 in the new year, they are only cheap right now for retailers trying to push last minute sales and for an extra £10 for a dot it’s a no brained so cancelled my original order and ordered the one with the dot
