Second post... Is this a good deal?
Was looking for a watch I could pay off interest free over 6 months, and this one seemed reasonable.

Yes they’re great watches, I’ve had mine since Jan 2019 and only now is the big home button sticking a bit. The straps are useless though so buy one or two extra and keep spare.

I’ve an iPhone and it works perfectly with that, I got my dad one but he has a Huawai p20 pro and it barely works with it at all so be careful depending on your handset.

And I should mention, I bought it for £124.99 last week on Amazon and I think they also offer the option of paying it over a few months too.

Thank you, Paul.
I saw the deal in Amazon, but for some reason my options to buy and pay later with Amazon has been removed. It was there for a long time. Not sure what I did wrong!

I have an iphone, so hoping for the best. Thanks again
I would maybe wait for the Versa 2 to be on offer again.
I bought my special edition for £159 and the improvements made over the original Versa are easily worth the extra £20.

Only certain products have this, I think stuff on offer that they are not making as much profit on get this option removed.

What are the difference between the two, except for the strap, please?
I have looked online, but would be good to hear from personal experience?
Thank you
Looks like Amazon are doing the same price of £139.00 (Free Delivery for Prime) or you can do 5 monthly payments of £27.80
Just get the versa 2 for an extra £15 delivered from amazon. Improved in every aspect, newer technology.

I’ve had a Versa since launch day back in April 2018; still going strong (I have the charcoal SE same as this one which comes with 2 straps in the box, I paid £219 🙈 )

I bought my girlfriend a Versa 1 for Christmas, and chose that over the Versa 2 (which was the same price at the time, both were £140). Purely because Versa 1 is better for swimming.

It comes down to whichever suits your needs/wants the most

Versa 2 advantages:
- better display (option of always on too)
- better battery by a day ‘apparently’ (I charge my Versa 1 every few days though and have no issues. Officially versa 2 is 5 days, versa 1 is 4 days battery life).
- Versa 2 has Alexa built in to speak to (need phone nearby still)
- 1 button ‘modern’ design (versa 1 has 3 buttons)

Versa 1 advantages:
- swimming activity is tracked and data is visible on your wrist while doing the exercise (e.g. number of laps swam).
Versa 2 tracks this the same, but doesn’t display it all while doing the exercise.
- 3 buttons on the watch (not the modern 1 button and relying on touch interface controls). I find the extra buttons better while doing exercise (such as for volume control of music playback - 1 button volume up and the other button is volume down, without needing to look at a screen)

Thank you, Lukas!
Bless you for paying £219... guess those are release prices... glad it is still going strong though!

excuse me for sounding DIM.. the SE is versa 2? Right? Hope so!
anyway, I would like my sleep tracked. Heart rate and be able to see the TIME! 😩😃
if I can pay with it without reaching my purse... bonus!
thank you for in depth reply!

No probs! I don’t regret paying that much as have used it daily since then, just showing how much price has come down

No, the SE is Special Edition Versa (1), which is what this is.
They released Versa and Versa Special Edition at the same time.
The Versa Special Edition was £20 more I think, and came with the additional fabric strap (and a rubber strap too). In the UK the features on the Special Edition and standard Versa are the same.
(In America only the Special Edition had Fitbit pay; where as in the UK all Versa’s have it IF your bank supports it).

All Versa’s will do what you want though (including the Versa lite).
Although who wants a watch which tells the time?

😁😁 great! I will settle with time! Fitbit pay, HR and sleep cycle. The rest I stumble across is bonus. If it shocks me to move, its gotta go!

Ok, so what I posted and purchased is the Versa 1 glorified. I also wanted it as I don’t like the rubber straps, so for me it ticks all the boxes. I saw a lite version for £99 on Amazon but it screamed Magenta.

Thanks again. Happy swimming

The main thing is the battery.
But the screen is better, there is more features and apps available.

After owning the Versa and Versa 2 the difference is very easily worth the price difference.

The strap isnt different between the two. The straps are different between the Special edition and normal edition.
It depends whether you can live with the horrible rubber strap, mine used to give me a rash when running, the cloth one doesn't.
