I was looking for the best price to buy one of these. As it only came out yesterday everywhere seemed to be sticking to the RRP of £220. Currrys have already knocked 15% off this. And of course you can use TCP, Quidco, Zeek etc to save yourself a few more pounds.

Very hot! They're actually selling the expensive model for less than the cheap one. Nice find.
Want, want, want 😬
Ordered, pick up in store tomorrow. 😁
Good deal... thanks
Seems the only difference with the special edition is the limited edition strap - anyone know anything else?

As far as I know it's the extra straps and NFC.
I guess these are both terrible extras as Currys thinks this should cost less than the standard edition.

I think NFC is on the standard as well . Odd but good deal anyway

Interesting. There seems to be varying information about the differences. The Fitbit Pay website says "*Fitbit Pay is only available on Fitbit Ionic or Fitbit Versa special editions", so you would assume only the SE has NFC. But who knows...
IIRC, the NFC is NOT available on standard editions in the US, but IS elsewhere...
Dunno why!

Well this is getting confusing then if the standard UK edition DOES have NFC.
If you want to use Fitbit Pay (UK) then you'll have to opt for the Special Edition. fitbit.com/uk/…pay

According to this spec page:
fitbit.com/uk/…ack
the standard one DOES have NFC.
However, in the UK, two minor banks work with the payment option...!
Thanks Guys, I just order one. I really like my Fitbit charge HR. brought my wife the Charge 2 HR.. been waiting for a nice update. This is perfect.

Not so keen on NFC on a watch.. maybe a bit old school... just cautious about the security of it. but who knows, maybe I'll get over it.
It's showing as full price for me.
Probably was a glitch
Think it's a glitch.
