and postage on top

Fair price but the orb is lacking, after reading reviews on this it doesn't have a full display to see progress at a glance . Uses Bluetooth to transfer details to i phone suppose not bad at this price. I have opted for the garmin vivofit but double the sales price on fitbug

hmmmm, have been ,eaning to look into getting one of these to use with pru health to get some points, cheers OP!

I bought another one in-store today. Very useful tracker especially for my sleeping pattern. Try Kiqplan for weight loss.

I think the reviews are perfectly acceptable for a dedicated fitness tracking device at this price. The lack of display is a testament to the sole purpose of this device wanting to be a tracker as opposed to a gizmo for something else.

It's very well packaged and the product build is amazing for 24.99

Will these definitely only work with Android 4.3? I've only got 4.1.2 on mine.

Is there any way to order and collect in store to avoid P&P? Othewrise the title shoul amended to reflect the real cost including postage.

What you can do is is add 3 to your basket and use the £15 code to get 3 devices including delivery for £61.00!! Just over £20 quid each. I bought 3 the other day.

What's the voucher please?

Tiss just a shame the delivery options kind kill the deal.

Anyone know how you get Amazon to do a price match?

Brilliant just got one instore . Had all colours available as well

Also 3 additional wristbands for Fitbug Orb are half price at £9.99 (found in store @ Guisborough).

I just managed to pick up a pink one, a black one and a set of the additional wristbands (blue/green/orange).
These will be great to track what 'exercise' we get each time the dog takes myself (or the Mrs) for a walk!
No sooner did I get them and someone came along and scooped the remaining 7 off the shelf.

those banging on about delivery killing the deal... this is in store too.

the wife bought one today in the Bridgend store

first impressions were that it's a bit plasticky (the orb itself) ... comes with a rubberised wristband and belt clip to pace the orb in ... uses a coin type battery so should last for ages

for example the fitbit flex is just a band so can't easily clip to a belt

the app on her moto g seemed a little sluggish when tapping the options but looks like it'll provide lots of detail

yes it's Bluetooth... you can set to streaming mode, manual or to transmit at 15, 30, 1hr, 1.5hrs, 2 or 3hr intervals... I don't see the problem with that

you activate the sleep mode by pursuing the button on it three times and in the morning do the user set amount of steps to let it know your out of sleep mode (or manually deactivate the mode)

Ive had the orb since black Friday.

The good thing for my purposes is that i dont need to exclusively where this on my wrist, in fact I keep it in my pocket with my loose change during the day and clip onto my PJ's at night (I just dont feel comfortable wearing something on my wrist overnight). Also, the watch style battery means no charging and will last around 6 months before replacing.

The nutrition side is good, the food library is web based but unlike others actually has UK foods (I can even add the Pret sandwich I have for lunch).

This model does not have the heart rate monitor functionality (which I dont need), so if this is an important aspect you will need something else.

If you are looking for a general purpose everyday activity/nutrition monitoring device than this is ideal, if you are more focused on the sports and cardio side than you need something more specific.

As the deal is instore as well, it does not need to include postage.

A good deal if yours works so heat added. However, I bought one of these on Monday for the better half and returned today. Step counter and sleep monitor hopelessly was ridiculously inaccurate / didn't work after following the instructions and calibrating etc. On a positive note Sainsburys (Edinburgh, not sure if national) have also discounted the Fitbit Flex to £53.32 from their price of £79.99 so she's going to try that instead.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, at one point this year, Fitbug was one of the biggest gainers, was worth about half a pemce and went up to something like 26p. Hovering around 8p so still making a good return for those that invested at the low price.

Sounds like you've not set-up properly (there are advanced settings that allow the device to distinguish between normal and aerobic stride lengths).

I also bought three online - still to set up though

That's what I originally thought. However, went through all the settings including advanced and retested before returning (I've used a number of trackers before and currently using a Jawbone 247 myself). I suspect it was just faulty as the symptoms were the same as some Fitbug has replaced for others under warranty. These things happen. It's still a great deal just a shame our one didn't work.

I joined the gym and stopped eating a lot of the processed junk. Seems to be working well. Heat as this might make people who never exercise get up and move.

Bargain. Thanks for the post. I've just pick up 2 from my local Sainsburys. ....there was only 1 left after I bought mine.

I bought one of these earlier in the week as dos my other half... So far very impressed! Would recommend if you are looking for a way to challenge yourself to move more.. Great at this price :-)

I did the reverse this year, seriously I did, and yes I'm fat. So exercise and eating properly did work. I don't plan to start the gym ever again, just eat properly. I don't like exercise however it's mashed up, it's still tedious and boring.

I tested mine out yesterday. Easy to set up. Not sure about the 'stride' set-up distance (is this one step or two??) but going to see how it works out over a few days. The sleep tracking was uncannily accurate (5 year old waking me up). I'm loving the fact you don't need to charge it. Only disappointment is the lack of connection to iPhone 4 or older android devices.

For those that are looking for something more focused on quick weightloss, Fitbug has released their new product called KIQPLAN.

Here's a video showcasing the apps exercise section:

Here's a review of one of the four kiqplans avaible called Slim and Trim:

youtube.com/wat…drE

Just got one for myself and my fiancé. She got a pink one and ingot the last black one in The Darnley (Glasgow) store. Plenty of white and pink left. Not as aesthetically pleasing as the Fitbit, but from most reports, works better.

Got one today, great deal. Heat added.

Mine doesn't seem to have the advanced option? My sister and I both bought one today hers did have the option and a necklace thing but mine doesn't? Any ideas why? Thanks

Xmas present from wife, using with Kiqplan Beer Belly Blaster.
Like the product, easy to use and not expensive.
Have read the above reviews,I have had no such problems.
Addictive.

Only problem I have had is finding a device to connect it to to upload my data.

My mobile phone is on the wrong version of android and my tablet doesn't have Bluetooth 4.0 (BLE). Luckily my daughter got a Hudl for Christmas which does work.

What are the advanced settings people are talking about?

2 weeks now and losing weight steadily. Wife bought me this for Xmas. I wasn't too enthusiastic at first but thought I'd give it a try. Never realised the amount of technology around that could link up to help me lose the pounds. Great buy at this price - wife paid the full amount!

Great product at a great price. I've been using a competitors product for the last year and it's been a real motivator to keeping fit and active. This has 2 major advantages over competitors: long battery life and Kiqplan. Why would you need a display when you can have instant and more in-depth data displayed on your phone. If its an activity and sleep monitor you're after, you'd be mad not to buy this at this ridiculously low price.

Hello
My neighbour was gifted an Orb from this deal and has asked me to help set it up.
After removing adware, Junkware, getting the 348Mb Windows Vista sp2 upgrade in and the bluetooth 4 dongle drivers all sorted on her laptop, I finally got to registering an account.
I cannot see a subscription number - which is meant to be at the bottom of the packaging - there is a barcode , but it does not resemble the format in the info pop-up.
Can anyone remember where their subscription number was to be found?
Cheers

The subscription number is typed on a white sticker with the description "Subscription Number". It's located on the INNER packaging box base, next to the bar code on the box. The inner box has the plastic window, not just a hole. The outer box sleeve (hole window only) only has the bar code so I'm guessing you're looking at that.

Thankyou very much for taking the trouble to post that!
Can't really understand why both me and my neighbour couldn't spot it, but sorted now.
Cheers!
