Condition

They are thoroughly tested to be in full working order, professionally refurbished, data wiped and restored to Factory default state. Cosmetically they would bear marks and moderate to heavy scratches, marks or dents. None of these will affect the functionality of the product. They may be in replacement packaging might have non-original accessories. Non-essential accessories (Manuals / etc) may be missing.
if its got an m.2 slot might be worth a punt.
If...
I could be wrong but i think it's the 3 and 3x that have the m.2 slot
Pay no attention to their grading system. I've had Grade A / Pristine from them - which arrived used - with plenty of wear.

The flip side - had "used / refurbished" turn up pristine / new.

Think the folks in the warehouse just pick the correct item & couldn't care less about the detail.

To summarise - It's a stock lottery

Anybody got any idea how these run Linux? I'm assuming I would need a very lightweight distro?

Any laptop with 32gb of storage is going to get alot of negative reviews. It can be become very difficult to manage......and at one time a windows update wouldn't install no matter what you did.

Found it.... so this ''LAPTOP'' company very negatively effect some of ebay big sellers:)...They will do everything just to get rid of THEm :))))

As a percentage it's very low.
I had to return my grade a. Touchscreen not working, and no m2 slot.

company has got 10.000 reviews .. 9850 Positive reviews //then 250 are neutral ,and negative.. from them 125 is about Fivetech laptops.. i think you need now answer:
a) is this is enough?
b) do you need more negative feedbacks to make sure its true?
c) just buy one for yourself?
d) there is no right answer ..
i really dont care, its cheap its works and who want just buy it.. not my business what you buying, I just remembered i have seen somewhere that Fivetech..and shared with you:)
Just dropped them an email, should have a M2 slot.
Whether you want to risk a Grade C is another matter!

For a start you'd need to narrow it down to how many sales of this model there were and how many negative reviews of it there were.

You'd also need to take into account any reviews that are invalid, such as someone giving a negative for it having no m.2 slot when we already know this.

Intel's Clear Linux distro gets decent press for its speed and it would be ideal to put on this. It has a few idiosyncrasies such as swupd to update the binaries/packages. There's plenty of distros that will run fine on this. Manjaro 18.0 XFCE is another that comes to mind. It's free and easy to test out using a live USB and if you like the distro, install it native and it'll run even faster. I'm not a massive fan of XFCE, Mate would be probably nicer to use and is based on the older GNOME 2 DM. I've tried 20+ distros recently whilst deciding what to install on my Ryzen build. I chose POP_OS 19.10 Nvidia Edition, I wouldn't go for that on this though try one of the above first at least. If you want to go hardcore low resources then Tiny Linux is still being maintained and has frequent releases, the last update was yesterday, so very recent.

i would say for the machine itself and the condition, its about the right price - but not a deal.

Correct, I had a GeoFlex with the hatch. They are quite rare though.
Let’s be honest. This is probably absolute rubbish. There’s a reason big manufacturers make the best products.

Would have done if it was A grade but a C grade has too many risks.
But thanks for your (incorrect) advice.

To be honest anything comparable from a big manufacturer with a FHD touchscreen will probably be about 5 or 6 times the price. It's just the quality control that is lacking with these type of machines so a toss up whether you get a decent one or not.

Shall I go out to the office, take it out of the drawer and take a picture for you. Post it on here? Just because you WANT to believe something other than fact? Nope.... I 100% promise you, there isn't a slot on this model!!!!

No, there are clearly different versions of the this. Your version doesn't have it, others do and so it will be luck of the draw.
Bought one of these last year, popped a 128GB SSD in the M.2 slot, and it's a great, slimline, metal-bodied, touchsreen laptop. Fast enough for basic stuff, browsing, streaming, bit of light gaming.
Hard to find one with a hatch, but mine did.

I have one one of these that I bought from Laptop Outlet last Setpember (typing on it now) (look at my posts about it). I've got it dual booting Linux Mint on the 32GB eMMC and Windows 10 on a WD Green 240GB M2.SATA. The battery started to lose charge recently but a couple of emails later and I had a DPD shipping label. Sent off on the 22nd Jan and recieved back with replaced battery on the 7th Feb with a note apologising for the wait. Wonderful bit of kit and is used loads.

Linux Mint seems to be a solid distro. It's based on Ubuntu and runs very well. I've been able to do photo edititing (nothing heavy) with Affinity Photo and DXO PhotoLab 3 on Windows 10 (1909) and it's surprisingly good considering the CPU and RAM limitations.

Bought one with intentions of installing Linux and have it as a 2nd machine with light use. See how it goes

I personally would just dump Opensuse 15.1 on there (GNOME) because it should run fine for general purpose computing. If GNOME 3 proves to much I would use LXDE as a desktop environment quite possibly on suse if not just Lubuntu. If you are new to Linux I would definitely advise to stick to one of the larger user friendly distributions and stay away from KDE. A lot of people seem to like the freedom of choice idea a lot but get burned the moment something goes wrong or they accidentally break something, in my experience this happens to a lesser extent when using something like opensuse.

Then i'm confused as all these are supposed to be rebranded geobooks and if geobook say they don't have m.2 then i'm likely to believe them as they make them!
Mine is a rebranded Geo (came with FiveTech stckers over the logo) and it has M.2
