Are these for open grate fires ? Or can they be used in a multi fuel stove ?

It could be a slow burner

Heat because I thought this was a multipack of Lion bars.

Ideal for centre parcs they charge £3.

This has been the same price for the last year if not longer.

99p shops around my area have tons of these so 99p each is a standard price. Anyway I think the title of this deal is highly misleading seeing as you have to buy a case of 12 for £11.88. I know it breaks down to 99p but if everyone started dividing up deals like this to make them sound better it would be highly annoying.

these have been this price for the past 8 years at least. no deal here.

I also use the 6 pack verdo logs from home bargains.

These are good to get everything started if you cant be bothered with kindling

Misleading post. The title should reflect the fact you have to pay out for 12. It isnt 99p for a log

you only have to pay for 12 online, a a they arrive in box, you can buy them individually in store...

So it would twelve quid a day to heat the house?
Or are they massive?
I reckon 3 or 4 in the fire at the same time if they are huge, that would give 6 hours heat.

So for a week that is eighty four quid.

That seems expensive even if they are big.

If they are small then you could be using 2 or 3 sacks a day.

I use these along side some other type of wood, They make it a lot easier to light the fire, and then you just top it up with normal Ash wood

Hot tip on a tangent - no need to use firelighters when lighting a conventional fire. Simply pile some kindling, then put a few logs on top. Take an old newspaper and rip a couple of 1-2cm wide strips from the folded side. Rustle a few of these strips up to make a nest of paper strips and place them under the grate. Spark it --> Roaring fire in minutes! Tadaa!

Just back from Centre Parcs and it was £4.29 for 1, or £10 for a pack of 4. We took these and they burned for 2.5 hours. Good value n easy to use.
