Same price at Amazon if you're a Prime customer. Could be a 10 day wait but what a great movie at a great price and apparently the transfer to blu ray is excellent.

Flash - a-ah - he'll save every one of us!

Ming the Merciless is out to destroy the Earth and only one person can stop him!

Flash Gordon (Sam J. Jones) is zapped from Earth into a sci-fi adventure on planet Mongo with his beautiful companion Dale (Melody Anderson). In an attempt to put an end to Ming the Merciless' plans to destroy the Earth, Flash battles Ming's goons and declines the advances of the luscious Space Princess Aura (Ornella Muti). What's being a 'Prime' customer got to do with the price of an item...surely it's only relevant to shipping costs??

Exactly. If you're not a prime customer you'd have to pay postage. If you are a prime customer you would get free guaranteed delivery by tomorrow; whereas play.com give free delivery but it'll take a few days to get to you.

Like for me, as a Prime customer - I will always order it from Amazon if its the same price elsewhere,

Amazon haven't charged for standard postage in ages, some of the marketplace sellers might but Amazon offer free standard delivery on everything

Oh. Why am I paying prime then? I thought orders under £15 paid postage. I must admit I haven't checked since signing up to prime a couple of years ago. But I am going to now......

Great film (loved it since I saw it in the cinema when I was 8!) but this is a disappointing blu ray. The picture quality is mostly poor with lots of DNR, the soundtrack is a bit flat, and worst of all they've removed the Brian Blessed commentary from the silver anniversary DVD.
