Thanks to SHOWMAN36 for the initial find of the card reader.

Some good prices there. Wonder what the speed is like though:thinking:

Didn't expect 4Gb flash drives to drop quite that quickly. Thought it might take at least another month to break through the £15 mark. Voted HOT.

I need to find out how fast these are first. I've bought flash drives before that seem a good deal but then are so slow they're worthless.

Integral have a logo service. Companies can have their own names on them, eg Bytestor, Play etc

Why is speed so important so long as they do the job?

All flash drive are NOT created equal. Play used to sell a Maxell 1GB with a free 64mb stick, the speed on them was terrible.

Yes I have bought these, and used them without problems. I am just a normal computer user for work and play, not a techie, so would I honestly notice a difference if I'm not in a hurry. Genuine question.

I bought the Bytestor 2gb usb about three months ago. I've been using it every other day and have had no problems.

Yet again another amazon deal where the postage is not included in the title and not taken into account
Breaks the rules of posting deals on here, please include them folks and please don't say well top up your order with summat cheap, instead just post deals with postage. Thanks

I myself am waiting for 8GB flash pens to be less than £20. That way I can have an entire dvd image on it.:-D

Well i've got a 4GB Integral (one of the translucent green ones) and they are faster than the Maxells, don't know the actual speeds but it is noticable. All depends on what you want it for. If its long term portability rather than speed the anything goes. If you want to run Portable Apps etc direct from the stick then the faster the better.

Dunno really. Not sure if tip offs like this are what this site's about tbh with you, but it was posted as a hot deal..... :?
Where do you draw the line? How do you differentiate between a tip off and a genuine hot deal?

Well the options there if you post a deal, right at the bottom of the list. To me a deal (product) is a single item, a (tip) is a series of items from the same supplier that are offered at a reduced price, or failing that info on how to plaster a wall nice and smooth:giggle:

I would rather these deals be posted as I may have something cheap I have in mind for the make up to £15. In this case I was waiting for a cheap card reader, so got both the flash drive and 17 in 1 reader. Thanks.

fair enough, i'll not say anything anymore and if these deals are posted, so be it, guess it's not upto me to say anything

Often speed makes little difference but for some digital cameras, PDAs, satnavs, etc it can make a lot of difference.

I've noticed on my SD Extreme III when I copy files to it it's like copying files to a physical hard drive. When copying to a normal SD card it is considerably slower.

Yes, how is the quality?

I had a 256mb one of these.

Only trouble with this specific model is its a bit bulkier than some others, and so might be difficult to fit into USB port if you have a lot of other devices plugged in.

The USB connector on mine bent a bit...still works though.
