Yes Thomas Cook flash sale is here but for 24hrs only - unless 300 seats sell out which is pretty likely to happen first.

Reading TED's review on Boston...........
Perfect for the tea party.
Bit expensive to go to Lincolnshire, could drive there for £50
We did the Boston £199 flights in May. Great city, loads to do. Accommodation is very expensive though so bear this in mind. We stayed in Quincy and got the T in.
save on the flight, lose it all on accomoadtion.
Gutted, seems to be September only.
Boston is a great City. Small enough to get around easily.
Try & get some Red Sox tickets.
Hit up priceline.com for cheap rooms - if you dont mind taking the mystery hotel.
I got allocated the Westin (by the conference centre) for £75 a night.

dont bother with the car unless you want to go out to cape cod, plymouth rock or head up north.
Lots to do in the City. Its a Historical City (American History) so you can do the historic freedom trail, Visit Fenway Park (ideally to watch a game), goto Harvard, etc. - If you do hire a car, the Fall is one of the best times to go with all the autumn colours.
Earlier this year I flew into San Fran, travelled through Yosemite, LA then Vegas and loved it (thanks viagogo).. I had to come home sadly but would have loved to carry on East..
So no sort of road trips from Boston worth doing?
Only £105 to fly Boston to Orlando return in Sep/Oct, so could be a cheap 1 stop option.

Or wait until they do the same promo on MCO and MIA - they normally do...

Yes, You could head up - but would prob have to drive back down again to fly home. Could head West to Niagara Falls & on to Toronto & fly home from there. You could head south - Marthas Vineyard, Plymouth Rock, Cape Cod, etc & on to Long Island or New York, Philly & Washington. - 2 years ago I done Boston, Niagara, Washington, Philly & NY in a road trip. Prob. shouldnt have bothered with Niagara Falls. Next year its SF, Nappa, Lake Tahoe & Yosemite.

Your next trip sounds like what I did on a similar deal this year. I took a cheap internal flight £30 from Vegas to San Francisco and would do similar here.

That sounds so tempting.
Down the east coast there are plenty of places to visit. I went to Providence, Pawtucket (home of family guy), ocean city, Atlantic city, Washington, Philly, New York.

I didn't think much of New York. The other places were amazing and they love the English. The Boston nightlife is great, a bit like Manchester. Huge science Museum in Boston too which will take a whole day exploring. Definitely hire a car, super easy to drive round and everything on that route is around a 2 hour drive from each other.

September/October is arguably the best time of year to do road trips from Boston New England is so lovely, and it looks it's best as the leaves are changing for the autumn. I'd probably say it's best if you google Fall foliage New England road trips as there are plenty of recommended routes and you'll find one that suits. A couple of years back we did a great road trip and saw a lot of different places in a lot of states (Massachusetts/Rhode Island/Connecticut/New York state/New Hampshire/Vermont and Maine all in two weeks!) but some people choose to do less..

Hiya
Tell me more plz! I just booked flights end of Sep to San Fran from MAN.... Will do a 3 night drive through Yosemite, Mammoth Lakes, Death Valley and then Vegas for 3 nights

Did u fly with Thomas Cook ? and if so, did u pay the £22 seat choice fee, or could u pick your own seats free when doing the 24hr online check-in ?? As its 2 of us going, we want the 2 seaters on either side of plane.......
Off here in 3 weeks. Managed to get Virgin flights direct for £375 when they launched the route last year. 10 nights in Hyannis, NY and Boston. 5 of us with car hire whilst in Hyannis £875 flights, car and hotel.
