Amazing price drop for this desktop ready single extruder 3D printer - think it's the cheapest price it's been anywhere & next best is £280 - £329!

Would make for a perfect first printer, as reviews seem to suggest even I could use it, with help from my 8 year old daughter .

Touch screen for instant previews of prints, as well as FlashCloud support making it easy to transfer designs.

I would still go for the ender 3. About £160 on ebay and much bigger build size 220 220 250mm, and a lot of videos and groups if you have a problem. 140 140 140 is just far too limiting.

Not looked in a little while, but last time I did 1KG of 1.75mm PLA could be picked up anywhere between £10-£20.

This is a brilliant 3D printer - have had this model for 3-4 years now - never had an issue - great output
Not a great amount but 1% Top Cashback as well

You didn't mention that you need to put together the ender 3. This one is all ready to go.

This has a preview screen. The ender doesn't.

The printing size isn't always the deciding factor
these are pants! Get an ENDER 3! or ENDER 4 or 5 i tihnk are out now for £150
The ender 3 as far as I know is quite easy to put together just a few bolts and plugs ( i have one in a box in our hallway as my daughter want to give it to her husban for his birthday) . If you cant put it together you should most probably not be 3d printing as you will have to do a lot of learning in the long run anyway ie blocked nozzles, levelling, slicing software settings, designing software etc. If you are after an out of the box 3d printer that is as easy to use as a laser printer in the long run that wont happen.

It also comes with a heated bed that this doesent which is quite imprtant and would expect on a expensive machine. so some materials wont be possible..

The knob control on the creality is almost as standard and hasnt been upgraded as most people are fine with that type of control. Both my creality cr10s and geetech a10m use that type of control along with 90% of printers out there. I dont need to preview as that is done in the slicing software anyway. Flashy but nearly pointless.

Why part with 50% more money for a 50% less capable machine.

What do you use it for if you don't mind me asking? Would be a little tempted but not sure i'd have much use other than messing about!
Toys for the kids, lampshades, bespoke designed hooks for front of filing cabinets, decorative plant pot holders, bespoke made bins to fit into out recyling box, bench belt sander angle attachment to help when sharpening chisels, adapter bracker for my ring doorbell so it points in a better direction etc, If you look on thingiverse.com/ you will find lots of thins people have designed but really that is just a starting point for your own designs.
This is a toy...tou can create miniature toys....i have to agree with above...for less money you can go for ender 3...there are a few things to fix but there is an entire comunity and you can fix any problem with a simple search...but if you need a toy for kids this should be ok...
What is the biggest thing it can print?
The only thing i want to know is. Can i make an Iron Man suit with this?
That is all i want it for.
I dream of a day i can go into a shop with the suit on picking up cheese burgers and swarma.

Yes but it will take a long, long, long time building it in itty bitty pieces to glue together...
Anyone in the know recommend a 3d scanner/printer combo, so you can put an item in to get it scanned, then replicate it at the same time?

When that day arrives, send me a message and I will buy one as well.
There's the Creality Ender 3 for £179.98 on Amazon. Lowest ever price according to 3 Camels. I tried to post it as a deal but the mods were having none of it (probably because they don't get referral fees)

amazon.co.uk/3D-…LKS

Can someone tell me if this is a good deal or not? Because I've already bought it I know the Ender 3 has been cheaper from Gearbest, etc - but are they the exact same model? Apart from the extra extruder (in the promotions), how does the Amazon one differ?
