same price in poundland

Been this price a few times , not very good and due to the size of the plastic around the plug you'll struggle to plug into any product that has a cover!

Totally different quality tho!

These are AWFUL!!! Take forever to charge. The slowest charge cables I've ever had for any phone

Still, if you like pretty colours and don't mind waiting an age, go nuts.

surely it's the charger that influences the speed, not the cable. Anyway thanks for the tip about poundland. Just grabbed one.

Exact same cable/packaging/price in Poundworld in Canterbury FYI.

To be honest they have worked for us, good for wrapping around a powerbank and they charge fine - so a thumbs-up for the product although £1 is the normal price

I've got one in the van and it charges quite quickly, it does however have a temperamental end on it (to be fair most of the cables at all price ranges do that though)

Fortunately Apple have improved the quality of their chargers and cables so no need for tat like this.

I've had several of these and they don't last more than a couple of weeks unfortunately.
You end up having to hold the cable in on odd angles for the connectors to work. In the end they just stop working all together.

Bargain!

been £1 in tesco for a long time but they are good i have 1 and its ok

Boxes of them and iPhone ones in the Sunderland branch in their clearance sector so probably nationwide.

These have always been one pound. If your Tesco store has a Brand Outlet area (ask customer service if you're unsure) then they'll have these cheap charging cables.

Beware of using the non-official cables too, I got some from groupon that the cable was reinforced, very handy for in the car but at about £2.50 each I brought a few and replaced the ageing ones in the house too, after a couple of weeks the battery on my iPhone would now give up at 50%ish and wouldn't turn on until plugged in, I went back to an official charger and this fixed the issue, the cheap cables make he battery think it's charged but there's no measurement, there's loads in the Internet about it but my advice avoid these like the plague

Work fine for me

Didnt work for me with any 2A usb plug, Acer, Asus, Belkin or Samsung usb plugs. Or a Microsoft 1.A. Waste of a quid

But not their prices .....

I've had a few of these for iPhone and iPad. Charges fine and no issues with battery. Charges faster on a 2A plug as would be expected. I've always used 2A tablet chargers for all phones/tablets and they charge faster .....

Just for info I use HP and Samsung chargers .....
