FLAVEL ML10FRSP Dual Fuel Range Cooker - Silver

The cheapest I have seen this dual fuel range cooker elswhere is £469.99, so already a bargain at £429.99, but if you use code CUR1 a discount of £21.50 (5%) is applied thus bringing the total to £408.49

There is also the choice of adding a cooker hood for the combined price £469.97

currys.co.uk/gbu…tml

and with discount and free delivery comes to £446.47, so in reality you are paying £38.00 for the cooker hood which normally retails at £79.99, so half price.....bargain!

plus quidco takes another £5.58 off the £446.47, which is then £440.89 total for cooker and hood

Anyone know if these are any good, will check out reviews on line but always good to get HUKD feedback.

FLAVEL is an old name in cookers now owned and made by BEKO.This is a good price for a range cooker if you have a room for one...just try and see and feel it instore as a LOT of cookers are not made as used to.

I've been looking at purchasing this for a few weeks, I'm looking for the black one though

Definitely - the knobs on a lot of new cookers feel flimsy and plasticky to me these days.

ours had to be condemned 5 weeks ago as there was gas leaking from it (not sure where about it was coming from, was just told by the gas engineer it was not the connection points) and it was only 9 month old!!

I have the electric version of this, only had it 6 weeks but so far very happy with it

Warning, I am a cooker specialist and this is an awful beko cooker, at least 60% of my out of manufacturers warranty call outs are These type/build beko cookers, do yourself a favour and buy the best value for money range on the market a Rangemaster, yes they are alot more expensive but if you divide that price by the number of years you have it and the amount of breakdowns you will have, it will work out far cheaper than this turkish made rubbish.

But what if you don't have £1500+ to spend on a cooker? I had a Rangemaster that was giving me loads of issues, struggled to light the hob and the oven. In the end got rid of it and bought one of these in the op as it was as far as we could stretch at the time. 12 months on, no problems at all.

Dont listen to British gas, they were doing the warranty work for Rangemaster for 4-5 years and couldn't manage to fix the simplist of problems, I was endlessly clearing up after them, British gas engineers (loosely speaking) did not like doing rangemasters they proffered doing more simple boiler work so were well known for bad mouthing them as they were the only cooker they fixed, if they had to fix other brands such as belling, stoves, cannon etc they would soon have changed their tune on which to avoid.

Rangemaster make the best sub 2k cookers out there by a long way, believe me I have worked on every brand from £99 -£55k (yes fifty five thousand pounds for a domestic range cooker) do not confuse Rangemaster also with a cooker called a "cookmaster" which again was a beko.

Funny you should put belling forward as a good cooker and call a Rangemaster as there is not one component on a belling that is better and the build of a RM leaves belling standing in the shadows as was admitted by a manager there...... Plus pretty much anybody else in this trade.

well for a start you don't have to spend £1500 to get one, there have been plenty of deals recently for around £1k, secondly why would you get rid of a Rangemaster for a less than £100 repair when you know how much they are and buy a vastly inferior range ? If you struggled to light the oven and hob then you are looking at an incredibly simple repair, I go out to rangemasters now that are still going over 20 years after purchase, Rangemaster also unlike other manufacturers rarely have parts going obselete too so the owners can look forward to many more years of use out of them, how many other manufacturers offer that sort of back up ?

I sound like an advert but it's just the years in the trade and trying to steer people the right way, I assure you I do not work for Rangemaster :-D
