FLEXSON VINYLPLAY Turntable Now £229 Richer Sounds and others - Play vinyl straight to your Sonos

I have been looking for a decent turntable to play my old vinyl on and connect with the Sonos we have added over the past few months.

This Flexson deck looked like the ideal option for quality vs cost and offered a simple one box solution. Seems to be a Rega turntable and fitted out with reasonable tonearm, cartridge, motor and onboard processing.

To connect to SONOS system. VinylPlay can be connected directly to a PLAY:5 speaker, or into a SONOS CONNECT/CONNECT AMP, and then streamed onto any speaker on the network.
Or plug it direct to active/powered speakers or with conventional hi-fi and AV.

It can usually be found £299-329, this is a pretty decent saving and went for it immediately. There are a couple of open box ones and It's also available through Amazon and others.

Also in Black

Great, great, great price.

Sevenoaks & Amazon price matching and OOS at most other retailers but I've requested a lower price from a online hi fi shop and waiting to see what they come back before ordering.

Great bit of kit I've been looking at for a while, will probably get the Flexon shelf to go with it also, but don't want to pay £150 for it.
This is a rebadged Rega rp1 with a Pre-amp , A very nice turntable for the price. But not sure why they seem to push the Sonos part of it. All Turntables (with pre-amp) can plug into a sonos speaker with the right cables. It's not like it's wireless
There's a few upgrades on this that make it better than a RP1, notably a 24v power supply.

Agreed, I had a Planar 3 in the past truly great bit of kit.
This turntable is a bit of best of both worlds and is close to price of the RP1 but also having the A2D USB stage on board and the 24V motor swung it for me and that it can plug straight in to the amp, computer and line out to the Sonos, which just means I can put it very simply on all over the place without faff - I guess that is the appeal and worth pushing.

When I was looking at other options the Rega Fono A2D USB stage used on this is £89 on its own and it was another box of tricks to cable up.
Nice turntable, great price.

And also nice to see something posted that is actually good to play LP's on, rather than a Crosley.

Great price, have ordered. I think reason they are reduced is that this model will be rebranded the 'VP2' with a cheaper 'VP1' and more expensive 'VP3' joining the range for 2016. My amp doesn't have a phono stage, so this was cheaper than getting the RP1. Can also be upgraded in future should I feel the need as there are lots of add-ons for Regas.
Showing as £299

Deal is back on also on Amazon again for the same price (Advanced MP3 Players fulfilled by Amazon)
I am really enjoying getting back in to most of my vinyl.
price dropped to £199 at richer sounds, maybe due to record store day. anyway, picked one up, but it has a very audible hum when connected to an amp and speakers. anyone else noticed this, know how to resolve it?
now £229
