Haven't bought a Steam game for a while so will nab this. thanks @EpicDealsUK
Thanks, next step start looking for the decent graphic card
I've always fancied having a go at a flight sim. Am I likely to get much fun out of an Xbox controller with it, or would I need a decent joystick?

I've been meaning to get a joystick to use as a handbrake in my sim racing games, so I could kill two birds with one stone if that's the case.

If so, what would people recommend, joystick wise?

Thanks.

A joystick would be better
An old attack 3 could be good if you need something cheap

Brilliant, thanks I'll have a look
Logitech Extreme 3D pro is best at this time but costs more.

Thanks. The Attack 3 doesn't look to be available any more anyway and I definitely want to buy new. The Thrustmaster T-Flight Stick X is another tenner more than the 3D Pro and has 1000 more reviews and a higher rating. Wondering if I should go for that instead?
Can't wait for Flight Simulator 2020, im going to be cooking bacon and eggs on my PC to save money
This ins't a price glitch? This is how Steam bundles work. And at this price - it's 3 times more than its lowest sale price...

Honestly I wouldnt bother with FSX now. It's poorly optimised and generally long past its best. If you're just wanting to get a taste if a flight sim I would look into Prepar3d academic. Iirc they do a 60 day refund policy if youre not satisfied. Its basically a more modern optimised version of FSX. Alternatively look at X Plane 11 or Aerofly 2.

The thrustmaster t.flight hotas is always a good call for an entry level stick. They're cheap compared with other flight sticks, but still over £60. Might be an idea to look on eBay, might be able to get one for 20-30 second hand.
There's a new flight sim game coming soon, so depending on how seriously you want to get into it, might be worth waiting for a much more immersive experience with modern graphics
I wouldn't bother with this at all (and I've owned it for years). Why? Take a look HERE: pcgamer.com/uk/…or/
