Plastic overflow pipe, loads of uses, I have cut a groove in one to make a clothes prop, the other I use an an aerial mast for my caravan. Or just use it for it's Intended purpose

solvent weld overflow system in white PVC-U. No expansion gap required on the solvent weld overflow system. Apply solvent cement evenly to both surfaces of joint, insert pipe fully in the socket depth and remove surplus cement with a cloth. Allow five minutes to set before handling and twelve hours before testing the system. Ensure that the pipe is cut square, all swarf removed and cleaning fluid applied to both surfaces of joint. Manufactured to BS 6700.

Thats online. you can pick up singles at the branch only same with soil pipe and tile adhesive. There is a page at the back of the catalogue with branch only items that can't be ordered online.Generally toolstation are cheaper than Screwfix. I nearly always compare but would say 90% goes through toolstations door

They have massive warehouses. I don't think they would run out of core products. If you haven't tried them give them a go they deliver on orders over £10. and they are good on returns within a month.

edit: I have only ever used Worcester and Redditch(HQ) which have always been well stocked. There seem to be a few dotted around South Wales but none in Powys which is probably why you haven't used them.

Used them just today as needed some cable and a 2d energy bulb, came to £12 so used the free next day delivery.

I prefer toolstation, unfortunately I have 4 screwfix branches closer than the nearest one.
My nearest one is also half way round Huddersfield ring road next to an Aldi, matalan, b&m, poundstretcher and dunhelm, they rarely get my trade.

From the PVC Marketing Association, I presume?

And it will perish when exposed to sunlight for long periods so you'll need to paint it.

Wouldn't recommend this to buried/underground cables you'll probably find this is thinner than normal electrical plastic conduit.

Yes it will.. few years ago had some 22mm copper pipe so decided to use two 6 feet pieces as clothes hangers in a small walk in wardrobe. So made up some cement , blocked one end and rammed cement in, it took the weight of the clothes no problem and looked nice after polishing. So the same could be done with an aerial mast made from the pipe, story over.
This is the pipe have to use for the drain off from a combi boiler because of the acidic conensate.

aerial mast? with a 21.5mm plastic pipe which'll barely hold up a pair of pants, you're having a laugh!

Haha - well it's all relative isn't it? If you use PVC in an application where it causes less environmental damage than something else, it's good.
If you need to run a gas pipe or wiring through a brick wall, line the hole with this first.
