yes, the half an hour I spend each year doing this really drags

Been looking to get a cordless mower for a while and not seen any this price so thanks for the heads. Take some heat

Looks a great deal, I'm very tempted, can anyone see if the 3 year warranty includes the battery?

I got cordless mower from Argos earlier this year . So much easier than corded.

Switched from Petrol to a Bosch cordless two years ago.
Wouldn't go back now.

looking for decent but cheap electric lawnmoer, which Bosch have you got and whats the runtime on single charge this one didn't say?

I got the Bosch 36v Li about 4 years ago for 300-odd quid, no problems with it at all, similar spec to this one.
But, as it's outside of warranty now, I would consider this as a replacement.
The Lidl 18v Li strimmer also looks the same as the Bosch, for about half the price.
I've got a couple of Parkside tools now, and if the Florabest range is similar quality, I wouldn't hesitate over brand name goods.

We have the 43 as it is quite a big lawn.
I don't know the total runtime (never timed it), it came with two batteries but one usually does the whole lawn so they just get rotated.
Worth having a look on Amazon for specs and different configurations.

In terms of price though, this deal has a lot going for it, the Bosch was a lot more expensive and still is by the looks of it.

Terrific price (less than half the price of the Bosch) - I'm very tempted but it doesn't say whether it has a roller (for stripes); I suspect not unfortunately. I also wonder whether you can get additional/replacement batteries.

Does this come with 1 or 2 batteries?

Sorry just read it above..

Any one know if you can get spare battery for this?

Just to confirm it only comes with one Battery. Bought one yesterday, easy to assemble, hopefully will be ok on one Battery. Total garden size is approx 240 square meters so Battery should last

Hi. Do you know how heavy it is?

Comes with one battery, but you can buy spares. Charge one/ use one! Only just bought mine so not able to comment on performance, but great price and guarantee.

My old Bosch mower (corded) pegged out this morning. I was going to get a Bosch cordless, but thought I'd check HUKD here first and I'm glad I did. I bought this one and it's doing a cracking job of mowing my lawn. Battery only took a couple of hours to charge, seems solid enough and it's very manoeuverable. Thanks to the OP.

I will buy one if I can trace it in Norwich.

Used it for back and front garden - great so far and a breeze compared to corded. Time will tell though.

Does it have a roller to stripe the lawn?

No roller, but I was willing to compromise for the bargain price.

Does anyone know if these batteries are generic. I e mailed the service centre re battery two days ago but no response yet.

My one keeps temporarily cutting out and restarting. Usually if going over a little bump.. Anyone else have the same issue or is mine just faulty

My one also cut-out a few times whenever I was cutting in a rough patch of my lawn. I put this down to a safety feature because the blade had slowed-down. Subsequently I finished my back lawn & did the front one as well without further issue.

FYI - For reference. This looks to be the link to obtain spares. However this model is not (yet) listed, presumably because it's relatively new.

Hmm mine seemed to be doing it even when wheeling across the patio. Called up lidl and somebody from the warranty team is going to call to arrange a replacement

Are these still in Aldi stores ?

Just got the last one from Huntington store. It was burried under a whole load of new stocked corded ones. It looks very similar to the Qualcast 36v one but has a larger cut width, collector and a brush-less motor!

Still, not heard back from the spares department. I still need a spare battery. Anyone else had a problem.

You can use Mac Allister 36v garden tool battery or the one used in the latest 36v Qualcast lawn mower. Both are the same checkout ebay.

Jerrysimon - thanks so much for this - I'm a bit dim when it comes to these Li batteries. Are u absolutely sure they're the same thing?

They work perfectly I tested the Qualcast one which is the same and it worked perfectly. Search Mac Allister 36v battery on ebay. The Qualcast ones have only just come out but will no doubt appear on ebay once a few people have taken the lawn mowers back to Argos

Hi, did you get a spare battery, I am also searching for a spare battery.

Yep they use to be sold in B&Q a couple of years ago. One of the links is for 4 in Number. You need to keep a watch until one comes up. I just picked one up for £25 including the charger on ebay.
