Not sure if this is hot or not, welcome your votes. Just seems cheaper than when we went last year.
Family of 4 (2 adults, 1 child (4) & 1 infant
16/04/16
Flying from Manchester
3 * Starting from £1784.82
4* starting from £2091.43

We have actually booked with Virgin going on 10th May for a similar price, just prefer the virgin planes.
Some good prices around for Florida at the moment, if, unlike me, you are willing to wait this long to actually get there!!

N.B. Cosmos prices to Florida no longer include car hire as they used to, so will need to add at least £220 for basic car hire to this price. Virgin price include basic car hire.

We went last year for the first time, and loved it that much, we are even up to the challenge of taking our (will then be) 1 year old with us. You just need to budget realistically, bare in mind that the package price isn't necessarily the end of it, park tickets can be the same again depending on the age of children. Don't go there on a tight budget because shopping is a real killer over there, you just can't say no to the prices for trainers for example. Good luck

Thanks for the tips! ^_^

I should really put the virgin offer on separately shouldn't I? I believe the flying experience with them is so much nicer that TC or Monarch, and for the same price as virgin

Great price for flights alone!

Thats what they say these days Mermoo, people who have their own place out there are still booking packages, just not using the hotel, because stand alone flights are dearer. Unless you want to do "open jaw" which is just way too much faffing about for my liking LOL

Yes-we are fortunate enough to have friends to stay with-will seriously consider this option rather than flight only next time we go, thanks.

Out of interest-is this flying to Sanford or Orlando International?

Updated thanks. Deal i have posted is 16th April, as this site is all about best deal.
Holiday actually booked is 10th May with Virgin.
Apologies!

Recently returned from the land of sunshine. Its such a glorious magical fun place. We stayed at the Wyndham I drive and the new Orlando eye looks very impressive . wet n wild closing next year but universal are either going to build more hotels there or even better, another park . the new king Kong skull island experience at IoA looks awesome and also the massive new water park Volcano Bay is at its early consruction stages and universal say it will be best water park in Florida. The new harry potter expeince in universal Gringotts is simply stunning.....just So so so much to do and not enough time and all that lovely food too.....am I missing it ....you bet

Ha ha great comment. We went in 2013 and missed it so much last year due to the birth of my son. Personally we are only getting tickets for Disney parks this time round as they are the ones we enjoyed and felt the money for all the other parks would be better spent having fun in them 4 parks and associated water parks. Am I counting the days.....damn right I am. Shame it is still in3 figures starting with a 2!!!!!

I agree. We made the mistake of booking the cheapest one last time before checking trip advisor, ended up costing some fees to change to best western Orlando gateway but well worth it. Staying at Saratoga villas this time so will have more living space for rest days etc

Love Florida, we are on our 8th trip now and this inst a bad price. I normally pay around the £600pp mark for flights and accommodation staying in somewhere basic.
We stayed in a villa on our last visit but with only two of us it was a little wasted so will not bother next time.

Good price, But if you want virgin you can get it for £1600 (2 AD, 2C) various dates . Or norweign £1300 flights only 12 apr. check this link

Add hotel to this and you probably aren't far off the price above?
I got flights, villa, car hire with Virgin for £2100, this is what we ended up booking

We are looking at going February from Manchester school half term with 2 adults 3 kids it's more like 3 x this price as not many airlines fly in February nightmare

Gotta vouch for the Norwegian flights. We flew direct to Orlando with them back in May and i have to say I was impressed. I would almost say I would prefer them to BA or Virgin as they only fly the dream liner.

Interesting, i always thought of them as a "budget" airline, flying older planes the big companies have sold on, just shows you doesn't it ha ha

Really want to take my daughter to Florida but being only 2 I'm going to wait another 3 or so years I think! Will maybe try her with Disneyland Paris next year though and see how she gets on there!

We thought exactly the same. Not sure if you have read any comments above, but we, slightly reluctantly, took our 2 year old in 2013, and she had the time of her life. The "will she remember it" syndrome some people spout at you hasn't applied to my little girl, she still talks about it on a weekly (sometimes daily) basis hence why we are so adamant we are going back next year.
We must be gluttens for punishment as we are taking our (will be by then) 1 year old little boy, with the hope of the same outcome.
We live in Manchester, so by the time you have allocated money for actually getting to Paris, the cost of hotel, park tickets, and spending money, for only 3-4 days, you can spend approximately double and get to Florida with park tickets. Obviously i don't know your budget, and as somebody that has been to both, i would suggest skipping the Paris trip and putting the £2-3k in a savings account for Florida.

I bet you are all counting the days and it's a lovely feeling knowing its all booked and so much to look forward too.
Disney is like a drug and you just can't get enough of it
Have a magical time !

Yeah not cheap but to be fair the package booking is actually working out cheaper than individual booking plus we get car hire, Disney tix Disney dining etc included which you don't If booking separate so we will be biting the bullet & booking it all in one place I think!

For a great hotel deal in November, visit over Thanksgiving. There are no conventions then so the convention hotels offer huge discounts to fill their rooms. A chance to get a luxury hotel at a great price and Black Friday shopping is an experience not to be missed for bargain hunters.

Great link-shame it doesn't include charter flights, which there are plenty of over the summer.

for any converts to Florida check out TheDibb,co.uk for lots of ideas and advice.

Florida is a different beast to Paris - I would echo the comment to save instead and go for Florida later.

29 days to go to our latest visit - can't wait

We are wondering about Orlando as the kids & Hubby, love coasters! I am disabled and need a mobility scooter to get around - hence holiday in UK usually. For those who've been before - is it feasible to go in my condition?
