That's Amazing....fiends have been travelling with them for years to Cyprus from Gatwicj cheaply. You have to pay extra £25 for a suitcase and extra for meals! The planes are new and have TV on each seat with a massive range to watch, they also have USB points and you can use mobiles to make calls when flying. Very comfortable flight!

hi we booked through a company called ocean florida this year and had a lovely 5 bedroom villa for 5 adults and 1 child and all in all including car hire parking and hotel at gatwick for 1 night.+ 6 park ticket and space kennedy centre it worked out at around £1250.00 each that was for universal tickets also included legoland + busch gardens+ sea world +aquatica. and i can tell you it was well worth the money we paid.
we flew with virgin airlines which was brilliant to new york then on to orlando on the way back flew from daytona beach international to new york back to gatwick.
we went in august gonna go back not next year but the year after.
i have also noticed people on ebay hiring there villas out at good prices so if you can get a cheap flight your laughing.

Just a word - a friend of ours used Norwegian to go to the Canaries in November, flight back was cancelled but they were only told when they got to the airport, there was nobody from the airline available, they were given a piece of paper advising them to call a number in Oslo for further info, no answer on the phone so they were left to find their own alternative way home! We were looking at using them to go to Florida next Spring but have had a re-thought of this. Great that they are giving customers a cheaper alternative but their Customer Service needs to be much better.

They have a customer desk at Gatwick, but not sure about return?! Hopefully they had insurance?

I already booked orlando for Easter from the Thomas cook deal posted on here a while back. We go to florida every summer but couldn't resist the flight price of £1290 for 2 adults 3 kids in Easter.

That now leaves our summer holiday free and we were thinkin New York & Las Vegas so I'm very interested in these flights from Edinburgh!!

We flew Norwegian this year from Malaga to Tenerife. They were brilliant. WIFI on the plane, checkin fast and accurate. No complaints at all.
I wouldn't hesitate to book with them again.

I flew Norweigan Air last year, only to Palma granted, but a great airline.

I'm thinking of taking the family within the next year or so, when would be the best time to go (my kids are 6 and 4 years old) taking into account the weather/price/busy periods? Thanks

Does anyone know when/if they will be doing flights to US from Birmingham/Manchester? great prices by the way just Gatwick a bit far to drive to/from after a 9hr flight with three kids! oO

£28 for a meal each way, there taking the MICKEY

You would have to add on another £100 for food and luggage, taking the low fare plus option but still not bad

Last week of October and first week of November. You can see the Halloween and Christmas parties, and the food and wine festival and eat to the beat concert series.

I've been just about every single month but October always seems the best by far. We do October at least every other year and different dates on the other years.

Weather is much cooler too but still hot enough. Only downside is one of the waterparks will be closed for maintainence.

Their seat widths are actually narrower than other airlines' long haul planes. So whilst it may have given you that feeling, it is actually more packed!

In fact, they're closer to Ryanair's width than they are Virgin or BA's long haul width!

Agreed - ROMO...missed a cracker of £382pp for 14nts on international drive last year, flights AND accommodation with VA. Thomas Cook was close but cheapest was actually NetFlights.

I am guessing April last year wasn't half term / school holidays ? Can't believe Easter Holidays in Orlando are available with direct VA flights for £380pp

Fly back with someone else ?

I got a great deal in 2015, £5.560 including hotel, hostels, access to National parks, flights, insurance, travel, trek leader, included some activities, added a few extra grand for extras tho but you don't have to do them and spending money
This was flying to Miami, meeting up with 10 strangers, sharing a van with a trailer, driving down to Key West for 2nights, then basically zig zagging up and down and across for 80 days. Visiting 48 States, ending in Seattle. Was mostly camping but can't beat the beautiful areas to camp in.
