Forget the solar part of it, it doesn't work. I have one and it actually drained the stored charge by leaving it in sunlight. It works ok now that I have taped up the solar screen and simply charge through as a non-solar power bank.

Mine worked, except that 6 months after I bought it, the batteries suddenly decided (one rainy day) to blow up. I came out to my car and found the charger split open from how much the batteries had bloated.

No chance of an over-charge in 10/10ths cloud and heavy rain, so what went wrong is a worry; what if it had burst into flames while I was driving??
Ok then, based on the 2 comments above. I shall pass.

gimmick - nice for a toy but hard to take serious as a charger.
I almost bought this the last time it included a mic offer (it offered 2 models, both over £35 from various sellers), but missed out after I read up on the mic specs and reviews.
May just go for it this round, or wait for the 2 mic choice to crop up again.

Beat me to it!

Was about to say though, once you’ve done that you may as well buy a respected brand power bank without a solar panel. Not sure I trust Floureon

I had one of these definitely not 10000mah . Mine did the same the battery swelled and popped out.
Perfect in this weather!
At best I think these are either 2000 or 4000 mah
the free mic doesn't go through as free for me
Had similar, different brand but looks identical. As said, the solar is rubbish. On a VERY sunny day it'll slowly increase but pretty much useless. Gave mine to a homeless guy with the cheap sleeping bags that amazon were selling around new year, he can use it as a torch and get the landlord at the local to charge it up for him every week or so.

Weren't all the cheap CCTV systems a few months back floureon?

Well. it's a cheap chinese crap, what did you expect? 4x2500mah cells cost at least £6, add postage from China and I doubt this thing has even half of the advertised capacity or any protection circuitry.

AH, but when I bought mine, the price was £18, so I expected something that would work for at least a year.

I've gone back to Pisen's, cheap, reliable Chinese crap. The last pair were given to us in late 2010, at a ChinaMobile do (SiL works for them), and I accidentally got a great deal on four new ones, direct from China, a couple of months ago.
I had a floureon battery for my dyson. Packed in after a month. I would avoid
