Just trying to get rid of all the old flowers that they did not sell at the extortionate prices on valentines day. Not voting as its your first deal but don't think its a very good deal.
have ordered from these and found them to be poor quality and overpriced, could be just me but i wouldnt buy again.
cough Husband dearest cough :D
Thanks for the comments Europa.
Taking into account airport taxes and using a decent carrier I calculated that the cost of a 4* trip to Rome for two for three nights using ebookers worked out at about the same overall ( less with quidco ) and the flexibility of travelling when I want without the restrictions imposed also I dont have to spend £45.00 to qualify... nice first post davej1710 but I am afraid its a wee bit cold.
When I found this, the temp was at -27... will cold votes please remember that it is good fourm etiquette to put a brief comment in the thread to say why you feel this necessitates a cold vote?
Hampers have always been overpriced.Nevermind any gift/gourmet ones, the regular ones from like Park ( Farepak when many people got ripped off last yr when they went into adminstration or whatever ) you pay £100 for a hamper of groceries and can get down Tescos for £70,not even considering bogof offers/multibuys etc. Voted warm,as people do like to give these gift type ones.
What's an occasional hamper the rest of the time?
They were including the quidco which tracks at 20%.
Great stuff for my gf. Thank you.
thanks for this cat good find :)
Flowers direct have the same picture for all of their wine offers. The French red (2003 Chateau La Dame Blanche (Haut Medoc)) is the equivalent of £9 at everywine.co.uk. Without more information it's impossible to tell what the Italian amarone is worth. The pictures of the glasses show that they are Riedel (serious glasses that do sell for upwards of £10 each). In fact you get one of Riedel's sub brands, Nachtmann and these probably sell for around £10 for the pair.
Yes anyone know how much this wine is worth? I do love wine but i cant stand the cheap stuff
The picture is for a an Aussie shiraz called puzzle ridge which is strange. Not only that the wine that you say that you're getting is just a type of wine. I'm betting that the wine is worth about £5 and they are suggesting that the two glasses are worth £25. A con I think.

 Don't forget quidco (20%) to make this even better!!
LOL seeing this first thing in the morning , I'm thinking "eh Valentines day isnt in September is it"
Talk about bumping a thread up !! rofl
I bought some flowers from flowersdirect for an anniversary (imaginative, eh?). I ordered on the Sunday evening, but next day delivery meant the Tue for some reason. Flowers were very nice when they did evetually arrive, gf very happy with them. This week, got a call from my credit card company Fraud dept to tell me about fraudulent activity on my visa card. They initially had said it was identity fraud, which is obviously kind of worringy, but when I got through to the actual casework, she explained that someone had changed my billing address via phone, and then orered up £1200 quid of stuff, which my credit card co. had noticed and declined. She said that most likely i had used the card on a site that had been "harvested" for CC details. She looked at my recent statements, and told me that none of the sites looked particularly dodgy. she went back a few months more, then said "oh, have you bought some flowers from flowersdirect?" well, that said it all really. the card has been cancelled now, and i think i'll be using the local florist for future purchases:x
Does anyone here have a email address for anyone at this company? apart from the standard one? i guess i could start taking guesses?
Just to close my part off, finally got a response from flowers direct today and apparently the flowers were damaged in transit so they offered me a redelivery. Pretty good going 8 days after valentines after much chasing. Maybe here in time for next year*. *obviously i'm not dumb enough to take a redelivery. If you're buying from these guys, factor in there's a decent chance you'll never see what you ordered.
Well I think its lovely geri. And its a wonderful flying horse you have :)
This offer has been reduced to a £45 min spend
sorry was just reading the offer and when i added it up it was cheaper when we booked flights and hotel seperate last year to prague and that was peak season:-(
Well havent I done well two postings and both rubish. I am sorry everyone. I will try to do better next time :whistling:
