I have been looking at aquarium for a while and found this model to be the cheapest for a decent size (for a newbie) tank. 240L, 120cm wide, you won't find another tank with cabinet from anywhere else. I didn't buy this in the end because I bought another one from ebay for a lot less, but I would definitely have gone for this if I hadn't. Comes with filter etc, all you need is the gravel and fishes (once the water has been cycled).

That is a VERY good buy (iI have a Vicenza)

that is an excellent price - usually that size cost upwards of £400. Enjoy your new hobby

Great price, heat added.

(But if this goes too hot, your fish will boil)

i have this tank which i bought in a very good deal from pets at home £225

I'm looking for a bigger tank to replace my fluval 125 tank, so this is very attractive indeed. Just a shame it's so near to Xmas, I mean how do I convince the better half that I need it???

nice find!

Why do people always have to do this. Unless a deal is still available what is the point of posting what you paid for a particular deal? Is it the "I got better than you" philosophy. If so get back in the school playground.

Great deal - I've got a 300L tank right now, that would have been snapped up if I hadn't got this with all the extra's involved!

spam?

that's a nice tank i have a Juwel 260 vision and the fluval would be my next choice if i had not found my current tank at reasonable price.

Just look on eBay, there are plenty of people who give up with their aquarium because they're too dumb to learn.

Earlier this year I bought a second tank, a Juwel Trigon 350 on eBay, paid just £80 for it. Just needed a new pump / filter and 1 new tube - all in about £100. Plus a few hours of my time to give it a good clean up.

I wish folk would read up on aquairums before buying. Saves a lot of money and hassle in the long run. There's a lot more to it than filling a glass tank with water and fish ! oO

I have a goldfish, is this big enough for him?

I've got a 64L Interpret tank, bought as a starter kit so including the pump, filters, lighting, heater, start-up treatments etc (bought for £80). It's a great way to get into keeping a tropical aquarium and it's been up and running for 3 months now and we're loving it. The only thing to watch out for is the extras - I bought an air pump, air stone, air line, live plants, gravel, sand, bogwood, thermometer, and then the fish! That more than doubled the original cost of the tank, so it's worth bearing in mind the total cost of the finished set up! Great hobby though and the fish are fantastic to watch and care for!

Wish I had the money lying around to buy that.

looks nice - perfect for a marine setup. hide the sump inside the cabinet.

very good price we used to sell these at £350, they are getting rid of all these models now though as all new roma 240's are drilled base tanks and cabs. These cost nearly double as well!

SecoNd hand is the way to go with tanks as so many people buy all the equipment & then give up quickly. Had tropical for years, but set up my first marine tank a few months back

Tank above is a decent price for a new one though!

says this aswell on the right hand side....

We know you will need these items so we thought we would give them to you when you buy a Roma Aquarium and Cabinet. Free Aquarium Background. Free Natural Dorset Gravel. Free Aquarium Gravel Cleaner and a Free Fish Net.

Still included with the Roma Aquarium FREE Cabinet deal

maybe urchin !!

thats a great deal ..again too near xmas .....

Thats a great price. I bought the Roma 125 last September from Seapets for about £240, though I've since sold it and moved to an AquaOne 880, which is nowhere near as aesthetically nice.

Excellent tank for starting up as an aquarist, and it comes with all the basics, as well as a Fluval 305 filter, which are £100 on their own, and are way better than the internal filters supplied with the smaller tanks.

Remember not to put fill it with fish straight away, classic mistake.

Read up about 'cycling' the tank, and decide whether you want a community or species tank from the outset.

Some good points. sadly too many people make those mistakes, pay the price, and then give up.
I didnt realise this kit came with a 305, that makes it even more of a bargain. I only wish Fluval would sort out the sh1tty primer knob - too easy to break, and not very effective.

fantastic deal! Im thinking to set up a Discus tank this would be just perfect for it

Same here. As I said in the post I was going to get one of these until I found myself another bargain on theBay! Got a AquaOne Aquastyle 980 with all the original kit and cabinet, 2 yrs old, for £102. Slight regret because would love to have an external filter, but can't complain about the £200 saving, even thought what I bought is a bit smaller. As mentioned before the pump itself is worth around £100.

I thought I should share this deal around as it was such a good deal. Glad it is hot... also makes me wonder whether I should have fork out that extra £200 for this?! Hahaha.

You could get alot better aquarium alot cheaper in the classifieds of aquarist classifieds, and possibly get help from the seller to set it up too. I would never buy a new tank agan, far too expensive when you can get good one second hand. Been keeping fish for over 20 years and in that time all my tanks have been second or third hand, only fish tank I had new was one given to me by my best friend... voted hot any way as not bad for a starter kit even though with a little research you could get better cheaper...

best advice i can give in fish keeping are... check out bristlenoseworld.com or badmans tropical, or firstfishtank, these are ace site for the beginner

LOL !! You're showing your age mate (_;)
Not that I remember folk making stands out of Dexion (sp?) / angle frame

Don't get the mentality of keeping fish, reptiles or birds (or any animal) in a tiny confined space like a tank or cage as 'pets' or ornaments at all, kind of grotesque. Just an opinion, I'm sure the 'Seapets' deal is better than any similar...
