Use it to repair car exhaust pipes or similar jobs.
I hate this app and love it... It sells me things that i never needed but now it's just too cheap to give it a miss
48-90A. Not for your average household plug socket then
Be careful of the sales blurb. Powerful? No it's not, 90 amps is only good for welding 2mm mild steel (you need 1 amp for every thou thickness).
Fast and continuous? Not really. At 90 amps the duty cycle is just 10% (meaning after 1 minutes welding the thermal protection will kick in and stop the welder from working. You then have to wait 9 minutes for it to reset before you can weld for 1 more minute).
Useful maybe but very limited performance.

Yes it's suitable. You can use a transformer based welder capable of 140 amps output comfortably from a 13 amp plug.
Where was this please

Anyone seen stick welders lately?
Think how much more stuff Lidl would sell if you could actually order it,,,! Or have a stock checker? Instead they advertise a few could deals to attract everyone to their store, only to arrive and find it was sold out! ie they only have a one or two delivered to each store.

Doubtful, I managed to get one, that was already reduced @ Sutton Coldfield branch, about 2 months ago. So 99% they would have sold out now.
Anyone seen any around London
