Oh come on any mower blade striking a step is going to buckle and need hammering back into shape
Nope.. My old mower 'chinked' several rocks, stones and tree stumps in it's time - the blade lost sharpness over time but didn't deform.
Brilliant
Flymo made in Sweden. Bosch made in China .
Maybe (though I think my Bosch may be UK made) but place of manufacture is only one factor. Apple products are made in China but that doesn't seem to stop their fans paying mega-money for them. Original design and specification together with quality control are what matters, regardless of the nationality of the people screwing them together.
I had a series of increasingly poor Flymos before I got the Bosch - should have done it years ago! If it was simply my personal experience I wouldn't post an opinion but it does seem to be a general view.
The Flymo may be a good buy at this price but I suggest people consider their reputation too.
