A square lawn 25x25 only needs 25+25+25+25 of wire, so 100m of wire.

Perimeter vs Area.

Time to dust off the GCSE maths books

It does self-dock to recharge.
This or 1200r from same brand?

This or 1200r from same brand?

Looking to buy soon myself and from the limited research I’ve done so far, this one is the successor to the 1200r and the only difference I can see that matters is this has app control (over Bluetooth, not WiFi).

So if you see a much better deal on the 1200r and don’t care about app control then seems sensible to get the old one which is also well reviewed.

Also, there is no difference in hardware between the 200 and the 350. You just get more edge wire with the 350. Which seems a bit of a con to charge a fair bit more for a length of wire.

From looking at old deals this has been down to nearer £400 so I’m going to hold out a bit longer as don’t need it until I move house next month.

Yours or mine? Me thinks yours. Agree a square lawn with sides of 25m would use the 100m of wire. But a square lawn with sides of 25m has an area of 625 sq m whereas they suggest is suitable for a lawn of 200 sq m.
I've a Worx version of these. It's brill.
They provide excess wire so you can cover an odd-shaped lawn.
The size of the lawn it covers is more to do with how long it's programmed to spend cutting the grass each day.
A longer time spent cutting needs a bigger battery? Which might explain the higher cost.
