Its that time of year again, where I post a drop in price for a time saving device, and then get promptly told I am lazy. I reply washing machine, dishwasher, and so on...

Either way, here it is ... this is a cracking little device. This is a great price PLUS you get Amazon returns policy to boot.

I have one. Had it for nearly two years and recommend it. Saves a LOT of time... But does take a while to get the setup / installation correct.

They have certainly came on a lot recently.

Looks good and I do like a gadget but like petrol driven stuff even more than that. Im one of the strange ones who enjoys cutting the grass.

Heat added.

Does that need to be a credit account as tried none credit and it doesn't accept promo code
Had mine for a year now and lawn is great. No need to get rid of clippings as it shaves off a few mm as soon as the grass is tall enough for the height set. Mind you I did get it in a lightning deal for about £360....
Lots of settings so can tailor to whatever schedule needed and is whisper quiet.

I will be honest - I had an issue with mine about two days after a bought it (and paid a LOT more than the current price). With Amazon, I made a quick call and after a manager approval (due to the cost of the device) they sent a new one and the old one got replaced.

Amazon returns policy is by far the best I have experienced. "Very" is (based on what is posted here) cheaper - but for the sake of a few quid, I would still use Amazon for the customer service.

Same here, did have my doubts when I bought it but the lawn looks great now. Just a few minutes with the strimmer around the edges that the mower can't get to and it's done. Spent far too long watching it go around when I first got it!
Want see point . Who empties it . Another Robot ? . First we had Robot Toys then Robot Hoovers , Then Robot Window Cleaners, Now Mowers. Next they'll be Robot bum wipers. Where will it all end???. Stop being lazy , Buy £100 electric mower save yourself £500 and do it yourself or buy a sheep !!!
I really really really want one. To match my Hoover. But just can't justify at that price. Hoping they will come down in price.

Probably the same person who empties your equally pointless washing machine and dishwasher.

"Want see point" - Most word processors now have grammar checkers, so you may want to spend your money on one of those instead.

Do you mean "I don't see the point" ?

The point is that:

i. some of us value our spare time.

ii. A robot mower does not need to be emptied.

It cuts the lawn regularly, so it only cuts off a few mm at a time. The cut ends fall onto the soil which nourishes the lawn.

I was sceptical about this at first, but there are no grass cuttings to dispose off.

My wife is pleased that the tips of the cut grass are small, so will not be walked into the house.

Personally, I have a Bosch Indego, but I assume this does the same.

If you have a small lawn, it is probably not worth it, but for a medium to large lawn, this is a god send.

This is the link for the Bosch Indego (NOT THE FLYMO VERSION POSTED). Please click the video because but this explains how these work and what I do with my time off

Obviously the whole point is I get to spend more time at the weekends doing the other jobs around the garden rather than the hour and a half cutting, emptying, cutting emptying etc every week.

People who think this is a lazy mans (or woman's) object really don't understand that EVERYTHING from microwaves to irons are to make our lives easier. Mobile phones - why use them? Why not just talk to someone? Etc, etc...

This is for early adopters. The price continues to drop as the technology improves. If you think it's lazy, please stop using a light switch and use candles instead. And while your at it don't use a radiator or a boiler. Use a saucepan and a fire!

Price has dropped to £599, not sure how to update without losing all the votes...

This was £499.99 last year (just so anyone buying this now doesn't feel too good about themselves)
