looks good for the money

Thank you. Reserved. Just what I needed as ours has run its life as years old x

Heat given but only 900w, it would have trouble cutting my hair oO

crap mower - it won't last as a previous owner of Flymo - you'd be much better off in the long run with a Qualcast mower.

My garden is about 18 ft by 19ft and is slightly sloped. Do you think this would be suitable for my lawn or do you think that seeing the area to be cut, the 900w motor would get overheated too quickly? Sorry, never used a mower before, only a strimmer. Thank you.

my current lawn burnt my last flymo out, will give this a go this year and if my bumpy lawn burns it out take it back.

Looking at this now, can I ask (as don't know), but do all of these mowers put stripes down through the grass? Thank you.

On the Amazon page is says "Get stripes with the rear roller - With the rear roller you can get that stately home look in your own garden, giving you precise stripes all over your lawn. Additionally, and importantly, the rear roller offers stability over lawn edges and prevents scalping."

Thank you reserved this one now at b&q. Even though I only have a small grass area in my garden as most of it is patio. I will go with this one now over the one I originally reserved.

On the Amazon page it says it's suitable for a 150m2 garden, which I think is pretty big eg 10m x 15m or 30ft x 45ft, so you should be fine

Bought one of these 2 years ago, broke after 13 months

Thanks, reserved.

Beware ...looks like the same one my son purchased. It did not cut properly at all ....does not have a large all metal spinning cutting blade..like the standard model ..just short plastic "cutter/blades" look underneath ..if it has the plastic ...do not waste your money !!! you will regret it. luck was on our side and B&Q did give a refund as it did not do the job that it was for.

looks like the model i have & had a metal blade & great price heat added thanks

This one has the metal blade( last line of description), and if it doesn't cut properly you can always take it back.

Metal blade

I got this on a previous deal from tesco and it was more than adequate for a small garden.

Cheap - but I'd never touch another rotten Flymo. Bosch every time now!

I'm going for this, I only have a small lawn, half the size of a tennis court, why pay more for a bosch

Hi, I have this mower. I have a small garden, grass is probably about 15 x 10 feet. This model fills up with grass really quickly and then clogs up leaving clumps of grass all over the place. It has a metal blade but is not that powerful. The plastic wheels are not great and it takes some effort over anything but the smoothest flattest ground. If you have uneven ground this is terrible. Also the plastic surround around the base is quite big and stops you getting really close to corners.I had never bought a mower before and bought this as I thought Flymo was a quality name. The build quality is not great and it is a purchase I wish I could undo. I would definitely pay more for the Bosch. Hope this helps, it is cheap for a reason.

Unfortunately you get what you pay for, £39 is a good price, if you buy one of the cheaper Bosch models, much the same problems as you described, including cheap plastic wheels and casing. For uneven ground you really should consider an Hover Mower ,as rotary mower never mind what make are not suitable for sloping or uneven ground. Strangely enough this Mower has better reviews than the Bosch on Amazon , despite everyone saying they prefer Bosch, Guess it's personal taste.

Flymo USED to be a quality brand - not any more.
