Anyone know if this is any good? Want to get one but need it to be good. Cheers

I bought a Logic one from Tesco 2 weeks ago and its rubbish. It worked properly for one day and now switches off after 5 minutes.
Its this one -

Can anyone tell me if this is any good because its very cheap?

We have one of these in our kitchen at uni, been working very well for months, very good buy at this price.

fantastic, thanks!

Seems to have good reviews!

I have one of these bought from the bay for less than a fiver. Theres loads of people selling them. Works really well for me. Nice that mine came with a car charger too!

I have had one for months now. Works very well in my car. Great for the price.

Ordered 2 off ebay... £4.75 each!

Ebay item number 280578008841

I got a very similar device to this (from tesco so not sure if it's exactly the same) back in june. A great device, doesn't have an amazing range but it definitely does the job. Fine for in the car where it'll likely be not much more than a metre from the aerial but in the house it you're not going to be leaving it in one room to use with a hi-fi in another.

I already ordered from 7dayshop.

How can I cancel that order?

I want to order from ebay

Can somebody explain what this does exactly?

anyone know what these are like compared to the Belkin Tunecast v1/2

Mine, bought from Ebay, was the biggest load of ... erm no I buy a lot of rubbish from Ebay, anyway it didn't work too well. Others report them OK though so for £5 maybe I was just unlucky.

I also bought a Belkin Tunecast, fm transmitter part worked well but it turns itself off in quieter moments.

Thanks for the post and thanks to those pointing to it being cheaper on ebay.

It transmits the audio from your ipod over a radio channel that you select, and you tune to the same channel on a radio and it picks up the signal (ipod has to be close to the radio) so you can play the music on your ipod through the radio speakers.

Curse you OP and your great ideas.

Another few quid spent, er, I mean saved!

X)

Can you not use this to listen to the radio on your iPod? That's what I always assumed they did.. doh!

Bought one of these off eBay for £2.75 + £2 postage.

They work surprisingly well. Range is very impressive - I stood 20ft away and the car radio still picked it up.

Gone for the ebay one, looks like I will no longer have the hassles of pluging in the jack plug nor power lead each time I get in the car. Cheers OP and the ebay finds

Amazing to think that only a few years ago these things were illegal to use (as you are technically your own radio station with an audience of 1!)

Also gone for the eBay one, cheeper than replacing my car stereo!

Would this fit a iPhone 4 with a case on?

Was going to buy a new head unit but will be looking at £200 for the one I want

Gone for the eBay one. Thanks.

I thought posting ebay links was not allowed as the one posting the link could be the seller of that auction??

Also gone for the eBay one !!

if you want to use it with your iphone - it's not going to be great!

The best option is to put your phone in airplane mode whilst using this.

I've had a Belkin one for a good few years now, it has a stand which supports the ipod and must say never had a fault with it. Works fine for me. As for this deal, sounds like a bargain compared to similar ones elsewhere.

Bear in mind if you are caught holding your iPhone (or iPod touch) with this in when driving you are liable for a Fixed Penalty notice and 3 points on your licence.

Just a warning.

Holding your iPhone or iPod and you get points? There is no such offence, using a handheld mobile phone whilst driving, or failing to have control of the vehicle are the two offences your talking about so holding something does not get you points. Both of which you should not be doing anyway

You are using it if you're holding it. You don't have to on the phone. Read the law.

Does that include holding a sausage roll or a drinks can?

I don't think they are are classed as a mobile device capable of internet/voice communication.

these sell for £12 in the stalls in the metro Centre in newcastle. I got mine from ebay a few months back, excellent value and works well but not excellent quality manufacture but what would you expect for £5
