Just bought this in Tesco Elmers End thought it was a good deal showing as £29.99 online. Reviews seem pretty good

This picnic table & chairs comes in blue complete with 4 seats that can pack away for easy transportation. It is made from a steel frame with ABS plastic table top covers, polypropylene plastic seats and aluminium legs. Warning: Please ensure that the locking catch under the seat and locking pin on the table are securely fastened before use.

Will post receipt in later post

Hope this helps someone

these normally do more than this on ebay,

I had on of these last year, less i think too, but i took it back as it was too unsteady and small for adults and more suited to kids.

so user beware

Got one from Tesco Direct at £19.99, brilliant for picnics and camping,

Haven't had a problem with it being unsteady

We got one of these last year & it has been fine for 2 adults & 2 kids. We've used it for a few camping trips & festivals & would recommend it

these were cheaper at the end of last summer and did look flimsy

the misses said "no"

I'm sure they are built to certain standards though?

Got one a couple of years ago for camping and one of the seats cracked after a couple of days use - I only weigh around 12 stone so I'm not a massive fatty. The build quality is pretty poor but then that's to be expected at this price.

Please ensure you set these up on fairly flat ground as we had one whilst camping a couple of years ago and my wife sat on one of the chairs and it collapsed beneath her with some of the metal struts shearing straight through! Ps she's not a heffalump either !

Took one of these to glastonbury and it didnt last, very flimsy but you get what you pay for

rule #1: if they sell it in both metal and plastic, buy the metal. don't waste your time or money on this rubbish. buy an aluminum set for just a bit more.

I had one lasted about a day i think i was bit fat for it mind

glad i took mine back then from some of the stories above it was the right thing to do

mine lasted about 1 hour then in broke on us was funny at the time but sore the next day so staight back to tesco to return

yep these are absolutely rubbish, dont buy one as its false economy

Good price, but we bought one and ended up taking it back, as the weight limit wouldn't allow my husband to use it!

5-10 yrs back, these were well made, but think recently as part of the obligatory cost cutting the materials have been diluted so to speak and it just seems really thin now. Tried the Argos one and had to take that back straight away as it was so flimsy!

Not voting hot or cold but buyer beware these are not that sturdy.

Unless you use it on flat ground and the people sat on it don't weigh over 10 stone I wouldn't recommend it.

I would agree with everyone above that it doesn't feel the sturdiest. The main reason I got it was for a painting/ picnic table for my children to use so hopefully it will last ok.

so as i initially said more suited to kids then

they should market it as such and will probably sell more !

It'll break if you don't put it up properly! It isn't designed to be used everyday, but it does us on the family camping trips. Good deal
