Go to the gym then. It'll be very quiet and as a bonus you can lick the equipment.

I think you'll find that stat is IF THE UK DOES NOTHING then 4 out of 5 will get it, which isn't the case as we've already been told to take measures, flights have been halted, ppl have cleared shelves of hand gel, more ppl wfh etc. But feel free to lick as many knobs as you like.
Anyone can share how this performs compared to other machines in this price range? I'm thinking JLL R200.
Reviews on the site are really good. And the computerised resistance and 3 warranty swayed me. Almost 5 stars on the website but I'll update when mine arrives. I think the 3 year warranty would sway me from the jll model.

Got mine today. Fairly straight forward to put together. Weighs 27kg, display is very good, bright, multi color. Had a really good workout with it. Lots of set programmes, my best is race mode. Overall worth every penny. The only thing I'd say I don't like is instead of a chain driving the handles it's a cloth material which appears strong. If it snaps etc, then Im covered by the 3 year warranty so I'm happy and aldi are not fussy with returns. So deffo would choose this over the jll model. The thing that puts me off the jll model is the manual tension system, turning a nob for tension means you can't have training modes. This one is computerised tension setting and lots of different modes.

Hi
I am thinking of buying this.
At 27KG does not appear to weigh much so is it stable and does it move in operation.
I realise it is not going to be the same quality as a Concept, but what is the maximum tension like in comparison,
as it would appear the cheaper rowing machines do not provide much resistance.
It's very sturdy. It's lowest setting is pretty strong, which I think another reviewer on the website also spotted. I don't think you'll be disappointed. Judging from the reviews on the website lot of people are comparing it with a concept 2 on tension.

Thanks for the review. I'm sold.
Thanks OP, have been looking for a rower for a while, especially now I’m working from home my morning walk to work will be gone.
The secondhand marketplace they either seem really cheap rubbish or really expensive ex gym equipment, so having a brand new one with good reviews seemed like a no brainier.
Will post more when it arrives.
Anyone who ordered one get a confirmation email? I ordered on Friday and I haven’t received one, and having checked my Aldi account it states ‘processing’.
Same when I ordered mine. Just got an email confirming the order after I bought it. Then 2 days before it arrived got an email from the delivery company saying they have the order. So may take a bit of time. Also, consider they've sold out so may take a bit longer.

Got my confirmation today, ordered on Thursday I think!
Must have been really busy that they're delayed in processing the orders. I'd be glad they've sent you a confirmation because they sold out fairly quickly. Not sure how long online restocking takes. Or if they even will so I'd consider yourself lucky. Great piece of kit for the price. It's worth the wait and I'm sure you'll be the envy of your friends as you get a lot for your money with that purchase. When you get it try the race mode, you have 2 markers one is you and the other the machine. The aim is your marker has to be faster then the machine. Lots of fun if the workout gets boring but with so many modes I don't see myself getting bored that soon. Good luck with it.

Fingers crossed I got in before stock ran out!

Thanks for the heads up, I was looking at the Lidl deal they had in store about 6 months ago, but they sold out instantly so no joy there. I seen pop randomly and took the plunge, good to know it’s a tidy bit of kit.
With this whole virus thing it should come in handy and be part of a routine which I think will be so important when restrictions-get tighter.
Race mode sounds fun, I will have a look at YouTube as well for some tips!

Actually - can you tell me what voltage the computer power pack is? Have a few around the house and might be quicker than waiting for Aldi to send another

Yes - mine has been delivered without one! Might have one lying around that’s same voltage I can use. 4 weeks wait for a replacement one from Germany!

Up and running! And good grief! The programs on this machine are tough!! I forgot how hard rowing Is!
Edited by: "Lefty" 27th Mar
Yes a few people have said that this rower is strong for that price range. I've set up a custom programme for myself that works well. The instructions to use the computer could be better but you figure it out. I'm getting used to it and pretty chuffed with the price for what you get. That price range you mainly get manual tension adjusted basic rowers. No wonder it's sold out!
Back in stock if you're quick....
OOS again now
I stupidly dillied and dallied first time and now missed out again.
Apart from continually checking anyway of being notified if in stock.
Wonder if will be getting more stock or could this be returned stock.
As far as I'm aware aldi will be restocking. It's a range they're providing for sports and gym etc just have to wait I'm afraid.
I've been watching this for a few weeks now. Seems to come back in and out of stock. Seems to have stock for an hour and then sold out.

I have missed it again
Just gone on to the Aldi website and one was available so quickly ordered.
Hope not a return as none was available yesterday and seems strange if new stock just arrived.
3 year warranty so I wouldn't worry. Glad you finally got one. Let us know how you find it.

Looks like I am fated with this.
Checked my order status and states order being processed.
However in red letters in the item description it says "We are sorry this item is no longer available".
Not pleased in the least considering they took payment on the order date and their stock system would appear to be useless as why allow me to add to the shopping basket.

Well not sure what is going on.
Eventually after over 30 minutes waiting to be connected on the phone I was told even though it stated no longer available on my order status it just meant out of stock since my order placed.
Strange as it never said that before on the order status,so none the wiser really.
I think a few people said that also. I think mine took about 5 days or so but with lock down may be a bit longer.

From some conversations today I was told that it's very very rare to get hold of exercise equipment so if your rower comes through I'd consider yourself very lucky. Explains why it stock runs out of it so fast!! The day it arrives, I think a bit of gloating would be justified

Hi Astar12345
I am definitely fated with this.It was being delivered today so was looking forward to receiving it.
Received an email a short while ago saying unfortunately could not be delivered as a tin of paint had split and spilled onto my item.
Can you remember if the box/packaging was fairly well sealed and airtight as no doubt if contaminated the contents will be useless.
If I remember it was fairly well packaged. The seals were taped so may not have penetrated. Would depend if the impact of the paint can damaged the box enough to make a hole to pour into.
