It's a cracking album as well. A few of the songs hark back to their older stuff. Heat from me....

great album, off to see them next year

Agree with other comments, great album, well worth the money

Great album and worth looking on I player to see if any episodes if the series are still available. The lyrics will make more sense.

Hot

Anyone seen their documentary for sale that goes with each song in turn. Want to buy a copy.

Me too. I've looked but not found it yet.

I'm a big Foo Fighters fan but I'm struggling with this album. While there are good songs on here, the fact they sound like covers of classic rock songs (intentional I know) puts me off it as a proper Foos album.

worst food album for a while, that doesn't make it a bad album but only 50% hit the mark for me and seeing there's only 8 tracks, that's a bit poo . but at 3.99 you'd be mad to miss out and not make your own mind up

listened to done of the songs the other day but as much as I love foo's this is a better price for the album...

Totally agree poor attempt thus time.Ni agression or passion I this album like the last one.Hooe this isn't the shape of things to come just like Linkin park.

Love Foos and appreciate what they were trying to achieve but shoehorning so many references about where each track was recorded make the whole thing feel quite forced, for me anyway

Thanks, definitely worth £3.99 - heat

Only on itunes so far - HBO will bring it out on DVD/Blu Ray next year most likely as it's only just finished showing.

Got a physical copy through Flubit for less than £6.

That reminds me, I must get that copy of SIMCITY

They were doing it here sonichighways.vhx.tv/watch for about £8 for all the digital downloads of the series, i got it earlier in the month but not sure what the price is now.

I think it's still on BBC Iplayer if you want to watch it now.

Last time I looked it was only 6, 7 & 8.

Intentional covers of classic rock songs?

It was recorded in places important to American music in general, not just rock. It's more a "Foos take on the sound of the USA" than anything else. It's a bit like their cover of Baker Street - marmite amongst fans. I quite enjoy this album, but only after having watched the series so I "got" the song references, and after a few plays through.

For me, Wasting Light is their best work.

Anyway, the deal is hot

There's only the last 3 episodes left to watch. I'm sure it'll come out at some point.

Thanks

Terrible album, but I enjoyed the TV series that went with it.

Its the colour and the shape of things to come!

Great price heat added.
Am still debating whether to get this even at this price though. It's a very average record, only the documentary piqued my interest (and that was largely due to the involvement of some amazing artists in each city the Foos visisted). Opening track is good but rest of the album is a bit meh. What I wouldn't give for another track like Monkey Wrench or Everlong.

Will mull this over today. Still yet may buy.
Thanks for the heads up!

Gonna wait and see if the drop it to .99p like the ac/dc album
