Anyone have this? Is it good?

Never mind the product, will never buy from these jokers again, bought a dyson from them that never arrvied, got a refund but customer service replies shocking, BEWARE!!!

I bought this last year from argos at 19.99. the ice crusher is not too great as it either mashes the ice cubes or leaves big chunks but is good to make baby food, smoothes etc. ok for this price with 1 years warranty.

thnx for sharing, ordered one first thing this morning

Does the safety feature that exists in the bowl also exist in the smoothie jug?

As for Argos Outlet, i've never had issues with them, even returned an item without problems.

Would this be ok for smoothies please?

Isn't this from the makers of the tv series? Ready, Steady, Cook

Yeh if you click on the link, it says ready steady cook one

Arrived today, seems very good quality especially the heavy duty glass jug, very thick and strong. Fantastic value for money at £15.

Thought the cable was short at first, then realised you pull it out, although, not sure i'd use it as a cable storage section as you do have to put in some effort to pull the cable out and it's only a matter of time before it starts to get damaged. How long is the cable supposed to be anyway, might be able to pull a few more inches out...or accidentally rip the cable out of it's place.

Anyone know whether it's possible to get spare blades, more attachments for this uni? I imagine it'd be almost as much as the unit itself considering how cheap it is, could just as well buy another unit i guess

Box also says "As Seen on the BBC"

Thanks OP.

mine came yesterday, agree with Xad above, seems like a good buy

I opened up the base to find out for sure how long the cable was, turns out i was right to think there was a few inches left inside as it got twisted and stuck inside the "cable storage" section. Full length of cable is 80cm.

Also, there is a safety fuse inside, so if your unit stops working and changing the plug fuse doesn't work, remember there's one inside as well.
