foot-long chocolate eclair is being sold at Asda

The foot-long eclair is as long as three, standard-sized eclairs lengthways, and twice the height, making it six times as big as your usual creamy treat.

And the best news is, the colossal choux pastry will only set you back £5.

Made with light choux pastry, fluffy Belgian chocolate mousse and sticky caramel sauce, it’s then topped with a chocolate fondant, for the ultimate show stopping dessert.

Asda will be selling the beauty from December 14.

heated for the novelty of this but you could buy 6 standard sized éclairs for cheaper than this? but im sure you wont get the fun out of doing that

I fail to see how £5 for an eclair however big is a bargain

Morissons 4 normal eclairs for £1. Get much more than this

Filled with creamy goodness for your pie hole.

I bet the Ann Summers prudes would be on this like a rash.

Are you a doctor?

Freezing. Just eat two normal ones for a quid.

A we're watching

a bit expensive...

Who knew that such a thing existed?

(Still prefer eclairs that used to be made, when I was young, with real crisp chocolate on them and not the fondant.)

Fiver!! Wouldn’t pay a fiver £2.50 tops... looks nice though
