My dad keeps on breaking his, let's see how long this lasts.

Hot Thanks

Duratool!

What did you call me?

Will this work on cars or is this just for bikes?

will most likely bend after a few uses

just about worth having for this price, even if used once to inflate something at the beach

No sorry this is only for Tractors and lorry tires

If you pump his foot up to excess, he'll just bounce along instead.

Deal and a half

Sadly, there isn't one solitary foot pump out there, regardless of price, that will last for more than a year or two's normal use - maybe about 10-20 uses.

They used to cost a bit more - but last (literally) for a lifetime. Halfords even sold one with a lifetime guarantee on it.
None of them are worth buying now, because they'll always let you down when you most need them. Buy a small compressor type, keep a spare, and forget these useless things - or buy 6 of them to keep by.

I feel deflated now.

Will this work on a bike or do I need a adapter?

I got one in Lidl a while back , and where you place your leg tent for me

Have to agree with Newbold - in recent years the foot pumps tend to be very flimsy and 'disposable' in nature, which is not what you really want as a 'standby' item to fix your pressures. I ended up with a previous HUKD cheap 12V powered £10-£12 Ring RAC compressor, and am impressed how accurate its gauge is. Not the fastest inflation, but it's been going for a good few years now.
Though for bicycle Presta valves recently plumped for a HUKD Halfords cut price pump - which was surprisingly HIGH quality (when compared to a previous Aldi/Lidl plastic one that also disintegrated with age - albeit after about 6 years!):

I had one of these. Had being the operative word. Cheap and nasty. It lasted inflating 2 bicycle tyres and 1 car tyre before the hose parted company with the bit that clamps on the valve (letting more air out of the tyre than I was putting in!). You get what you pay for, I replaced it with a much better pump for a tenner which has lasted a year so far.

Perhaps worth buying one to have in the boot of your car in an emergency but useless for regular use.

I have to agree that footpumps in recent years have become cheap and flimsy. But I'm impressed how long you've managed to make yours last! ☺

Perfect. I am fed up blowing my up my girlfriend

Buy a decent bike floor pump and use it for your car, much better than these pathetic little flimsy foot pumps!

Actually that's not a bad idea, one for each corner. On a side note Ive had mine about 4 yrs and it still looks as good as new.

Not the only thing that needs fixing.

Don't bother. I bought one and it was broken on arrival. CPC couldn't care less

Wouldn't it be cheaper to mend his puncture

I have this pump, its truly awful quality and has a tiny capacity

Just marry her, that usually works.

Website seems dodgy. When entering card details, there is no protection, as there is no Verisign/lock within the browser (tried Safari Mac)

And remove his only source of exercise?

(we have actually taken the wheels to be mended on numerous occasions at great expense, but it's just slowed down the rate of loss, not eliminated it, even a new tyre didn't sort it, so it's probably a crack in the alloys).

had one - valve attachment broke immediately- not recommended for any money

Useless don't bother...... I bought some and for Family members... As mentioned they just bend like a knife through butter

It costs a minimum of 50p to put air into tyres at my local garages so assuming this lasts 10 times it's sorta worth it although disappointing.

"they just bend like a knife through butter"

Hmmm, I'd recommend doing either one of the two following things:

1. Stop using the worlds cheapest knife for your butter! what's it made out of ...huh?...DUST?!? oO
2. I think your butter has gone off or it looks like butter but is actually a BRICK!

WOW !!!..... oO

I'm sure that will come reeeeally useful if you're ever stuck in the middle of nowhere with a dodgy tyre, no phone or no money!

Just mosey on down to yer local garage he says

EDIT: Oops, sorry .... I totally miss read your comment lol (_;) #smartarse

I think you need to buy better tyres or have a word with your fitters about resealing them.

Good point - I should have added the word 'or' in there! Actually, I've never found one that survives more than maybe 10 uses, and from the comments I think I might be being overgenerous! All of these things, without one single exception (prove me wrong, somebody, by finding one with a 5 year warranty) are totally useless and unfit for purpose. An utter waste of the planet's diminishing resources. oO

Page not found. I guess this is now expired.

Same as Rolson, bends with every up and down movement. Don't waste your money. Been there done that and threw it away.
