Found 5th Aug 2013
Sunday 11th August Coventry City legends take on Midlands Legends at the Ricoh Arena. Kick off 2PM. You can purchase tickets online or on the day, tickets already selling fast! This match coincides with Coventry City's first 'home' game at Northamptons Sixfields stadium and so all football fans should attend the Ricoh on Sunday to show disgust towards this move!

All profits from this match go to charities such as Cancer Research UK. Car Parking spaces can also be purchased online for £5 however this is not mandatory.

Adults £5 Kids £3 Kick off 2PM 10th August

Hear Hear!!!!!
Good luck with everything Coventry fans. As a footy fan I really hope sense wins in the end.

Sunday is the 11th August and not the 10th - apologies for being picky but just in case someone turned up on the Saturday and thought the crowd was rather low.

Hope the day is a success.

Given recent seasons' turnout, I'd be surprised if you noticed the difference.

Where is the Midlands? Is it past Watford?

Coventry City have legends?

thought it was from bedford onwards? but there doesnt seem to be quite a definite answer

Is it 5 a side?

Final Score - ACL 1 - SISU 0

Great idea and for good cause. PUSB

Hull City fan here & I'm hoping that a Coventry pull through the hard times they're going through.

It's an awful thought that any football club could go out of business so please guys if you think that this is good or not try and keep the jokes to yourself, put yourselves in the place of Coventry fans....I'm pretty certain they're not in the mood for humour.

Surely you have to have a good sense of humour to be a Coventry fan anyway! Not picking on them in particular as the same goes for many teams.

Is it only me that thought the 'north' was sopposed to begin at Watford Gap, not Watford? Perhaps from Worthing, they are the same thing?

I love to see all the people supporting us as!
Makes all of us football and feel united

Just type in any good search engine like Google "Jimmy Hill Sunderland" ... then the reasons why so many people up in the real north have no feelings for this midlands based club, and this guy was the face of MoTD for years. Having said that I have no problem with Coventry as a City and all their troubles years gone by and what they have done for the UK in general.

Heat added as it is a travesty what is happening there atm getting butt beated by SISU.

Wouldn't wish this on Cov or even our greatest rivals!

Really looking forward to this. Would help of we knew who was playing though, may get a few more up. Hope Dion Dublin is up front and Oggy is in goal.

Love City.....Hate SISU

Is Kenny Sansom playing?

Disgusting giiven the Highfield stadium, old it was, was more than adequate.

Was looking forward to a trip to the Ricohbut are Nahki loves sixfields.

Best wishes from Bradford City - we've been there! And could again as our stadium is leased as it was offset against the last ownership which got us in admin.

May be the final game for coventry city ever at the Ricoh. Sad times for the club I'm probably being biased here but this is the hottest deal of the year! A club that hasn't had no real money pumped into it just left to die... Pusb HEAT added!

If your a midlands footy fan come watch villa/leicester/wolves etc legends. Money goes to charities and you will help to stick 2 fingers up to the Football League and money grabbing footy owners who dont care for footy fans. It could be your club next.

The Football League think its appropriate for Coventry to now play home games in Northampton for the next 5 years, 34 miles from Coventry. CCFC's first home game (at Northampton) will also be on Sunday 11th but don't expect to see many Coventry fans there.
It will be great to see so many Coventry legends along with Midlands legends celebrating 130 years of CCFC and raising money for Cancer Research UK, Acorns Children’s Hospice and other local charities.

... plus £5 to park.
Thats still less than the £20 they wanted for Springsteen parking.

Looking forward to this on Sunday, NOPM to SISU.

thanks to all good wishes from football fans up & down the country...we are use to wit .sarcasm as well by now ...that's the same sort of support we got from the FOOTBALL LEAGUE/FA

Noel Whelan and Darren Huckerby confirmed to be playing. many more announced this Friday with a few surprises on the day, get down there!

Sorry but surely if more Coventry fans turned up to watch matches surely the club wouldn't have been in such financial dire straits? An average of 10,000 fans last season. Where did the extra 15,000 fans go? Part timers?

Super turn out... lots of money raised for charity and of course a 2 fingered salute to the present incumbents charged with the custody of our Football club.
Thanks for messages of support
