Picked up this fantastic goal set for my little boy. Complete bargain at £5.99. To be honest the goal target cover is worth that alone. Weather resistant and 3 year warranty and all for the price of a pint and a packet of crisps!

N.b. This thing is big! I thought it was child size - it's not! It's 5ft tall approx!

Got mine in Coventry and left 2-3 on the shelf. Happy hunting

Cold!? Really? Must have paid too much!

I wonder whether it is nationwide or just local It's my son's birthday in a few weeks and he'd love this, but the link leading to Aldi's website shows the price as being £29.99!

I just picked this up last night from Coalville store and it was £20, reduced from £29.99, so how can it be £5 elsewhere, does OP have copy of receipt?

sorry £5.99

He does but you'll have to bear with me for a while.

Oh I love a good hunt, particualrly for some geese of the wild variety.

Thanks for posting. Voted HOT, HOT, HOT!

thanks, I thought there would be consistent pricing strategy nationwide, as it not all epos driven via HO computer?

You do a lot of shopping in Aldi then?

Our local store has only recently managed to get local mark downs automatically scanning at the till. The number of times in the past the cashier, in their haste to get the items scanned, missed a REDUCED sticker and charged me the full price is crazy.

these special buys are so random, loo seats to bicycles, gotta love the 3 year warranties though

If it's of interest to "Shopping Nerds" the cashier typed the item code into the till - not the price or the discount. So it shows as correct price on the receipt. From previous experience it pays to watch these things closely!

I've just nipped out to my local store and the item was showing as the full price of £29.99. They had loads in stock. I doubled checked the box to see if there had been any reduced labels placed on them but no such joy!

our aldi had loads reduced in its Summer sale the other day. Moses basket stand £1.49 etc but think it's all very store specific

Cold! Clearly this is hot. Please comment if cold because I'm confused!!

They can be different prices at different stores , as Aldi have a nationwide price change, and also we do local price change which is store specific where we are given a reduction budget to reduced any lines we want e.g lines with only a couple of units left

the reality probably is the store manager in your branch has a warehouse full of Christmas stock. needs to get it out. reduces huge football goals to silly price to move them fast to make space. will be store specific. hot if you live in Coventry. pointless for the rest of us

what coventry Aldi did u use
